So here I am again, finally back to blogging, sorry Jeff but my blog dogs just are not around anymore, Tig tag, oh I miss our shop kitties I must say. But they live on in my memories and Jeffs's daily blogs. Thank you Jeff! I love WA!!

From Phoenix to El Paso, to now San Francisco I have been around a few blocks so to speak making good ol H2O into ice on purpose. Then them mean ol skaters come in and scratch up my ice, I worked so hard to make that ice pretty. Just not fair if you ask me, but to a skater, they see that beautiful ice, just calling them to skate and go berserk and pull off some amazing moves. Watching an ice skater on TV is darn near boring if you ask me, however, watch them live, and oh my Goodness!!!, what amazing abilities those wonderful humans have. However,, they are still scratching up my ice with their pesky skates!! Mean ol skaters!!!

I love teasing the little ones with that line, some kiddos roll their eyes at me, others stick out their tongue and yet others look at the mother or father wondering if they are in trouble or not. Kids are the funniest of us humans if you ask me, I mean who else can fall down and crash a hundred times and still be a giggle monster? And the ice rink is the creator of all of that.

That is my ice rink after them crazy storms that hit the west coast all the way up to Canada. My ice is all rainwater so you can see clean through it, was very neat, cool, hip, you know all them cool words we used back in the day. Not interested in learning the new cool words, pretty sure they are all in micro text mode now anyhow. LMAO!

Forgive me on this shot for we are still building the deck and such at this point so it is not how it looks now, but I love this shot for the skyscraper is reflected in the ice, and with the totally clear blue sky behind it, amazing photo. Heck, my Zamboni tent is still not up at this point, nore are the wall for the skate exchange area, office, nothing is up there or over at my area. Anyway, you are looking at the Grand Hyatt hotel, the really tall building there in downtown San Francisco from Union Square Park.

There is a photo from yesterday morning before the rain came in and about 2 plus weeks of having ice on my rink. And again, the Grand Hyatt is there along with the other buildings in San Francisco from my corner next to my Zam tent. Behind me is one of the sponcers, they have pretty much the whole block there, Macy's department store and the sponcer of the really crazy Christmas tree just outside of my Zam tent, or Zam land!

Here is another photo from the same angle, after a bit of a downfall so my ice rink is a bit wet and frosted here, and not open yet at this point, but very skateable. Pesky ol skaters wanting to mess up my ice!! LMAO yet again. Hahaha. So, this is the start of another series of blogs, now that I am not working on this darn thing 24/7 and have a schedule and something that looks like a normal life.

Tonight I was home before the sun went down, well, back at my warm and very cozy hotel room. Two weeks in the making, my motto is this. I work my ass off to make this event not work my ass off.

That is to say, I work really hard taking in past lessons learned of what not to do, or allow, and making them protocol on this event. I make sure all my bases are covered so I can create memories for others, without creating stress at my end. I am in the business of creating memories, wonderful fun, lasting memories that have not only just the simple thing of pictures in our minds, but also the smells, sounds, and some gooffie ol Zamboini operator saying things like, I love my company vehicle, shes a convertible, no radio, and has an 80-gallon tank that only last about 20 minutes. How many liters would that be? I wonder?

Now with all of that, how do I glean from that into this, the online world of doing what we do best, into making a living out of it?

Ideas, suggestions, blog ideas, and love all are welcome here.

Until next time, same Zam time, same Zam channel, from the one and only, Super zam man, Scott the Zam man.

I would love to get over there and visit Frisco one day Scott!

Your pictures are fantastic but I am sure they can't beat the real thing!

Great work on the rink by the way, how long are you going to be there on this gig?

Have a fabulous day my friend!:-)

I take photos of everything it seems, one day I want the nice Olympus OM-DE-M1X digital camera. Very nice camera. However, been having very good luck with my Samsung S-10+ and my Samsung S-21+ cell phones as cameras and video and audio devices. I have been having a lot of fun with my old phone as a camera and my new phone as a camera, puter, and phone.

Sunday night I got some great pics of the buildings on Bush street close to the Gates at China Town. Now with my new Mac Mini, I am hoping to really step up my game with photography and get that over into my online business stuff too. I will have that camera in 4 to 6 months.

I am here for 3 plus months, living out of my Zam tent and my hotel room, oops I meant the top floor of my Zam condo. I have my mobile kitchen in there, mobile office, garage and store the Zamboni overnight in there, well, 2. I got 2 Zamboni's this season. One has issues, I can use the backup one to get the job done.

Ya, in person is better, but photography is also a very neat thing. You can create moods that were not even there when you took the photo, you create it with the photo. Very cool thing to be able to do and create.

My days are outstanding every day!! And Fabulous!

Have a good one over there.

Scott.

You're certainly into the tech side of things Scott!

Photography is most definitely an interesting pastime, maybe I need to get into it a bit more.

I'm happy to hear that all of your days are fabulously outstanding, that's the way to be my friend!

Thank you for the great pictures, Scott.
I live on the Warm Island of Tenerife which is off of the west coast of Africa but belongs to Spain. No chance of ice here except on the highest volcano in Europe Mount Teide, up there is the only snow we ever see. It is November but our daytime temperatures are still 25 degrees Centigrade or 77 F. :-)
Have a great day.
Lisa :)

Thank you Lisa, I am glad you enjoyed my pics. I must get out that way one day and check that area of the world out.

We are in the 60s during the day and low 50s at night. between 20 and 10 celsius. Rain, fog, sun, winds, hills, and the Pacific ocean just about 5 to 8 kilometers from me. Rain this morning and full sun by noontime here.

Snow is about a 2 to 3-hour drive east of us here. Lake Tahoe is another must-see if you visit California. Very beautiful there and snow during this time of year.

Glad you enjoyed my post and pics.

See you next time Lisa.

Scott.

You are very welcome Scott.
Have a great day.
Lisa :-)

A great read Cali and beautiful work. Welcome back.

hello and good morning from San Francisco. That is an awesome Ice Rink and I am glad to be back after Covid shut down the world last season.

Glad you enjoyed my blog, just chatting with my fingers as I call writing.

Thank you for stopping in and saying hello.

Scott.

Pretty icy your way, I'd say.

I do like your headline, and I agree. Why not just start out being who you really are?

I listen to Darren Daily, and I purchased his journal to write my thoughts daily, well, on weekdays anyhow for he blogs Monday through Friday. And he has one of his quotes on every page. I got the idea from him on the headline for this blog.

The ice rink makes for great photo opportunities. I love taking photos and I spent the better part of 6 hours putting the photo's in a file, then learning how to get my Android device and my Mac Mini to talk to each other and transfer the photo's into my Puter.

Every day a new learning curve, but that keeps the noodle workable so it is a good thing. And I like knowing how to use the tools I have available to me.

Thanks for stopping by and saying howdy.

Until next time.

Scott.

Yep, I figure learning something new on here every day is keeping me from Alzheimer's.

A great read, love it. I hear the dogs scratch up the surface too.lol.

Who Let the Dogs out!! Haha. Great pic, where did you find that one at. I want to copy and paste it into a text to my manager at the ice rink. Last season I took pic of tv inside of my Zamboni tent of the TV. I had YouTube playing a fireplace screen saver with Christmas music for background noise. The text I sent him said, Zam tent is on Fire. He ran over to my Zam tent at a thousand miles an hour. Oh, great memory and my brain is already thinking of my next capper with that pic.

This is awesome here at WA, I am chatting to you in Vietnam from my hotel room in San Fransico. Chatted a moment ago with a wonderful person from Alaska, South America, and even from Down under. So cool

Thanks for the stopping in and the pic. fun stuff.

Scott

Yeh, I love the fact that so many of us are from and live in different countries. Yet we all have the same ambition.
I found the picture on line. I just typed in dog ice skating pictures and a whole lot of them came up.

The internet now has everything. Lol.

I can see it now, some damn idiot has put a dog in ice skates and it is cutting up the ice. Haha And you could use Canva to get rid of the background and add your own. Hahaha
