The Secret Of Happiness
Here is a quick blog about happiness, influenced by Rev Ike.
"Happiness is NOT something you find outside of yourselves, in other people, other places and things"
"Happiness is something which you must find within yourself, within your own mind."
"You will never be happy with anyone else until you are happy with yourself."
Let's examine those quotes...
Think about what makes you happy.
You defined that, or someone else did for you.
You can make yourself happy right now by thinking happy thoughts.
As basic and simple as it may seem, it actually works.
Think about what makes you happy...
- A significant other
- Family
- Friends
- Pets
- Vacation
- Great food
- A Favorite Drink
- Your favorite hobby
- etc.
Now really think about that moment and try to remember it and vividly feel and recall the memory into place.
This has worked for me on so many occasions I had to share it with the WA community.
I have literally bursted out in laughter when thinking about old funny memories.
(That's another thing, don't be afraid to laugh by yourself or out loud!
It is so liberating and I realized I never used to really laugh by myself, but it's because I had this belief that it was weird, but I am much happier now that I allow myself to laugh at any and all things funny, I became less serious and I think people like this better.)
Thoughts are things... and in my opinion THEY ARE EVERYTHING!
It's super important to monitor our thoughts because thoughts create feelings and feelings lead to action and action creates results....good or bad.
We all have bad habits, but it's not that difficult to break them.
Most of us just don't want to invest the little willpower it takes to fight a craving or urge.
Now if happiness comes from within, this means that we are always 100% of the time in control of our happiness.
Even if something bad happens, don't dwell on the moment and ask what else can possibly go wrong?
Look at the bright side, not only will you feel better, but you will attract a much better day by staying on a higher frequency and enjoying this short unpredictable amount of time we have here on Mother Earth.
