Gratitude is the best Attitude

Just wanted to share a little inspiration on this Friday!

Sometimes I don't wake up in the best moods knowing what I "have" to do.

So I try to change my mental state and journaling always helps me.

I can write about or complain about anyone or anything in my journal, and usually within 2 minutes of ranting...I get tired of wasting my energy typing it into my journal so I change the subject to something more positive or somethings I need to get done. It really helps get the negativity out of my brain and gets my brain flowing to a more positive productive state.

I usually ask myself what can I do today to help me achieve my goals?

This forces me to acknowledge my goals and brainstorm what I can do right now or some time today to help me get one step closer to achieving them!

Also,

If I remember when I first wake up I try to name at least 3 things I am grateful for!

  1. It's Friday! (Playing Volleyball at the lake today with friends)
  2. Summer (The best weather and my favorite season)
  3. My own Website! (I already have one website created with over 35 posts and another with over 15 with a group of friends dedicated to writing for it!)
  4. The list can go on and on from here!

We should all be grateful that we wake up every morning and be grateful whatever we have in life, be good or bad. If bad, we need to be grateful on how we overcome it.

We should teach the children this on their first years at school, gratitude, and really understand thankfulness, before we start teaching them that 1+1=2

GRATITUDE---We should all have this attitude. Be grateful for WHAT we DO have. We could be in a whole lot worse shape than we are.

I had heart bypass surgery and I am soooooooo grateful for surgeons who know what they are doing and a God Who continues to look after me.
