About Bunkie1

Hello, I am going to use an Old nickname from when I was in my 20's. My last name was "BUNKER", and everyone called me "BUNKIE"! So you can call me "BUNKIE", Back then I was teased a lot about , "Archie" and "Meathead", if you remember the Show, "All in the Family".

Please be patient with me, I am a complete "NEWBIE" at this. I want to make a difference for all our pets we call our, "FurBabies". I want to be an Affiliate for the Best Dog and Cat Foods, The best Veterinary Opinions, the Best Products on the market to make are FurBabies Happier and Healthier. And anything else you can think of.

I was in Food and Beverage in the Hotels and Restaurants for 20 years, and then totally changed my direction in life and went into Insurance adjusting. The last 8 1/2 yrs, I spent in Insurance S. I. U. Now you all know that means I went after the Bad Doctors and Lawyers that stole from the Good people that paid Insurance Premiums every month. And yes, there were ones we were proud to put in Jail, for a very long time.

Then, I came down with The West Nile Virus in 2004, and I have not worked since then. I contracted Encephalitis and Meningitis that seeped into my brain from my spine. I do not remember the next 2 years of my life. But after that I broke my back. And after surgery, I now have Arthritis in my back, and just about everywhere else. So I was retired early from my employ, since the West Nile affected my long and short term memory. I still struggle every day with medications 4 times a day to deal with the side effects of the Virus and a broken back. And I found myself in a position that many people my age find they really do not have the money it will take to live a comfortable life style since I am now also a recent widow.

My husband suffered from Congestive Heart Failure for many years, and of course could not be insured for the amount of money he would have liked to leave me with.

I want to make my future better than it stands now. So I believe with all my Heart I can be successful at being a Great Affiliate with a Blog website about the one thing I am Passionate about, Our FurBabies! I am a proud companion to my Sweet, Sweet Miniature Schnauzer, Chelsie, now for the last 9 years.
Before her we had another Miniature Schnauzer named Sam, and she was just as Sweet and Loving! Before that my husband and I had 2 dogs, a Miniature Poodle and a Lhasa Apso. And before that I had a rescue lab mix, whom my parents ended up keeping when I moved to Houston, Texas and have been here since 1976.
So if anyone can help me with this new venture I have in my head and in my heart, I would appreciate any help from Kyle and anyone else that can give me a heads up on what I am getting myself into. LOL,

Thanks!!!

You seem amazing to me! I know you want to help your, and all of our, furbabies. But today you have helped me. How? Your story gave me courage. Why? Because, to be honest, I meet few people who have life hard. Not really hard, though they think they have "IT" hard. I always come away thinking, "OK, I can see you struggle. But how hard?" Not usually harder than me. Yet there you are! A big smile on your lovely face. (Enough to melt any heart.) and you have "IT" harder than I do.

Yet your message is one of helping those who cannot help themselves. You are an inspiration for me. I often sit and think of so many things I cannot do today because of my back surgeries and my arthritis of the spine. The pain only gets worse, not better.

Then you pop into my life. Poor recall memory, pain worse than mine: physical and mental. You lost your husband! How would I survive without my lovely Jeann? She is, as I once was, a registered nurse. With her salary and my disability check we survive. You do so without a second income.

You have all the pain I have but more so. And no spouse, such a cold sounding word, let's change it to: love of our life, our inspiration, the reason to get out of bed in the morning and keep fighting in this world of pain! If your life was as mine is, you would probably think you were living the easy life.

Shame on me! Thank you for the change in perspective. I needed something like that this week with all the rain and humidity in Southeastern Wisconsin these past few weeks. I was getting worn down. Then I meet you.

Thank you for sharing your tragic story. As I proofread this post to you I get the feeling that my words are not the right ones to express my thoughts. First, please do not feel uncomfortable. This is not a come on. I am not flirting with you, but I am impressed! Then I know these words are inadequate. And I hope not depressing to you.

Again, thank you for sharing!

Dear Les,

Thank you for all your compliments, you really brought a smile to my face reading about you opening up and realizing you are surrounded by some very worthy people of your friendship and support.

Pain is just part of me. I try not to complain, since I respect my friends more then reminding them constantly where I hurt. I leave that for my Doctors. LOL !

Reading your Bio, I saw you were leery of WA, stressing it may be a scam. Double checking a site or business on Google for reviews of any business or site has always made it easier for me to find out if I am being a fool, or finding genuine souls in this forsaken world.

In the short time of entering the WA program, I see there is much more to making $$ money as an Affiliate then I first assumed. And finding the training is really quite exceptional. I am learning so much when I am able.

I hope I can to a role model for the younger people that are not so life seasoned as we are. I have been on my own so much of my life, it is second nature to do whatever it takes to carry on.

Are you feeling better about WA now? I truly hope so.
I am not in the position to be an authority to answer questions yet, since I am still asking the silly questions I feel maybe many are afraid to ask in fear of looking foolish.

Keep your chin up Les, you among sincere entrepreneurs.

I hope that we can become fast friends on site. We really do have a lot in common. LOL

We will chat again soon,
Marsha (Bunkie1) ;)-

Hi Bunkie, nice to hear from you. I look forward to getting to know you my new WA friend.

Now this is what I call a great profile blurb. Such a life you have had but you must be a great fighter! One suggestion is to put spaces between paragraphs. There are a lot of us mature middle aged persons out here. This would make it easier to read.

I see you have a website up and running. You might want to think about putting the links here on your profile page.

You do this by going to the right of your profile page, down to the bottom where it says 'Follow me on' and click on it. Put your website URL and any social media URLs you have (and want to add). This way people like me can hop in, visit and leave a comment. This makes it easier for us to follow you as this will be a direct link. And extra traffic is always welcome.

You should also do some more blogs here on your profile page. These go into Google too so add to your online profile. Also if you are promoting WA these WA blogs help build trust with your referrals. They can see you are really involved here.

If you have time I would love it if you visited one of my websites and left a comment on a post, any one will do. The site addresses are on my profile page.

As soon as you have a website link here let me know so I can return the comment.

Keep working hard, having fun and don’t forget to ask questions.

A very nice boss once told me, ‘Helen, when you ask a silly question everyone else breathes a collective sigh of relief because they don’t have to!’ And that is so true. No question is silly so ask away.

If I can’t help I might be able to point you in the right direction.

Now let us keep in touch.

Ciao
Helen

Hi Helen,
Thanks for the tips on the Paragraph separation.

I know exactly what you mean about reading easier for us Mature Middle Aged persons, I'm a bit up there myself.

Still working on the site, I have been watching YouTube Tutorials from WordPress how to work the back office and set up your websites.

I will be going to your profile to get a link to your Website. And get back with you.

Blogs done here go to Google? I was under the impression that what you did within WA, stays in WA and is not allowed to be published on outside websites? Is this NOT the case?

Please let me know, I am asking that silly question again !!!

Chat Soon,

Marsha (Bunkie1) ;)-

Yes they do go to Google and most likely other search engines. If you want something to remain private send by PM (the envelope at the top right).

Hi Marsha,

I have been with WA since March 2017.

I took several months off to tend to family matters, but I am back!

Take your time and follow one lesson at a time. Review the lesson as many times as you need to until it makes sense.

Bit by bit, things will begin to become easier and you will get a handle on things as long as you don’t try to get ahead of yourself.

Take your time.

Enjoy!

Hey again, Marsha,

I just wanted to stop by and see how things were going.

I noticed you haven't quite finished setting up your account yet! I hope you're not having any issues.

Adding a simple picture which is relevant to your interests, and writing something even as simple as "hello, my name is Marsha " for a description can help you out immensely! You will understand why as you continue to learn!

There is also an instructional video on how to properly finish setting up ones account. Don't hesitate to contact me if you have any question about anything! The only bad question is the question not asked!!

Oh... Also...

If you ARE liking what Wealthy Affiliate has to offer and you're considering upgrading your membership, you should do so within 7 days of creating your account (so you have 3 days left)...

I highly recommend this because..

1.) Only $19.99 instead of $47!!
2.) You get access to awesome hosting for an unlimited amount of websites
3.) You get access to absolutely every bit of information WA has to offer (which is A LOT!!)
4.) You also get access to a nice selection of tools which will help you make your websites more lucrative!

Now the special price of $19. for the Premium upgrade is only for the 1st month, right? It will go up the 2nd month to $49., right? Let me know please, I really appreciate that.

Welcome to Wealthy Affiliate Marsha !

Pj here - you probably remember me from my site Pure Residuals. I'm glad to see you've signed up and are ready to get started building your online business.

Right now, there are just two things you need to know.

1) Those who ask questions interact with the community are far more likely to learn faster and meet their goals. The support here at WA is the best in the internet marketing industry...please take advantage of it.

2) You can get started learning how to make money by doing your Level 1 Certification Course. Click on the green "Get Started Here" button or just click this link .

And don't forget that you can also access me for 1-on-1 support by leaving a message on my profile https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/pjgermain or by responding directly to this message.

There are a ton of other features you have access to right now, but they are explained in your main training linked above. Your #1 job right now is to get started on the first lesson.

If you have any questions at all, don't hesitate to ask questions in Live Chat or on the training modules. I think you'll be surprised at how many people want to see you get started on the right foot!

Cheers,
Pj

PS. Did you know that you'll already have your website built by lesson 4? Crazy, I know!
