Hi Everyone!

My real name is Jason and even though there are a multitude of us I wouldn't change my name for all the gold in the world! Jason means 'Healer'; putting aside the fact that formal training was never my cup of tea, I have used my body as a labratory for many years now. For more than a decade I was a Vegetarian and in January of 2012 I started learning how to be a Raw Vegan. It is now March of 2013 and I must say, if you are considering a plant-based diet be ready for a whole new level of energy! If I had to describe the feeling in as few words as possible they would be, "Sharp and Strong"!

At this point in time I work as a Mover; fortunately, I can't be poured into that mould. As far as a, 'Good enough' job goes it definitely fits the bill but my Mission in life is to help as many people as I can become healthy and well. THAT, my friends is why I'm here :)

Yah man the raw vegetarian diet is awesome! I haven't committed to it completely however I juice everyday with raw organic vegetables and some fruit. Love the health I'm enjoying because of it, most importantly the clarity of mind, that is truly awesome!

Thanks for the follow, nice to know there are like minds trying this online business stuff :)

I see what you mean. I had a co-worker tell me that Kevin Trudeau said something similar in one of his books. My mind goes blank thinking of the title!

How's it going, Jason? In some ways, I wish I was more a vegan! Was that a lifestyle change, or did you grow up a vegan?
Reply

Total lifestyle change! I went Vegetarian more than a decade ago; the whole animal farming and hormonal/steroidal thing scared the crap right outta me *shiver*!

I only went Vegan a little under a year and a half ago. Why? I read too much, research too much and dig up untruths too much! I kind of wish I grew up Vegan...if that were true, I'm positive I could make it to my 120th birthday lol.

Actually, I don't think any person can read enough books! Different books give different perspectives, even if they seem to talk about the same thing.

My hardest part with eating healthy is the lifestyle change. I mean the counting calories, servings, how much fat, and so on. Sometimes, I just want to eat! However, if I do that, I like to balance it with exercise, like going to the gym and especially cardio workouts! I will soon be able to afford all those places. I know I will be visiting there often!

Was there something that triggered the change in the book that you read to want to change from the way you were eating before?

It wasn't so much one book as it was a conglomeration of books and other media. I am self-admittedly a bit of a bibliophile and healthy lifestyles is another, "Hobby". Now if I could just remember everything I read I could retire rich in a couple of days!

As for the whole counting carbs and all that, I think humans got steered in the wrong direction when that particular concept started gaining dominance in society. We should be concentrating more on what is really food instead of how much of what is in the food, you know what I mean?

Do you mean in school when they told me that bread is the wheat group, milk is the dairy group, etc.?
Reply
buddhabuddy Premium
Not really. What I mean is we're looking at the science behind the food when we should looking at where the food comes from instead. If we keep our food intake closer to what the earth provides instead of what a factory provides, we would be much better off.

The more knowledge I gain, the more I see that this idea is one of those "Key Issues" we need to solve if we want to be who we are meant to be. It ties in with diseases, finances, social structure, mental health and a bucketful of other nasty things!

Welcome to WA. I wish you well in your endeavors. You have come to the right place to learn to earn. If you need assistance please do not hesitate to ask. I would like to suggest going to training center?training homepage/fast action quick start..which is potpiegirls tutorial. I recommend it when that "overwhelmed" feeling starts. Anyway, I am Brian from Oregon,USA.

I am honored. I do not understand the Gold thing here. Can you explain?

Its the thought that counts right? Don't laugh; well...laugh if want to. The concept sounds like straight out of a Bible Parable--"It is more blessed to give than to receive", Give and it will come back to you. *all to teach us not to hold on to what we have.

Was I being insensitive? It was my childhood teachings coming out. But, like you said, and many people before you and I--there are many crossovers of concepts, stories, parables among many religions. I didn't even mean to be religious like. When I look at "Buddha" I think I thought, "Brotha" (like, brother) which is not a bad concept either. I think in all religions I could get away with thinking of you as a Brother, right? Cyber-Brother. Hmmm. I thought myself out on that one...

Why did you change your appearance? I wasn't shure I was talking with you.

I am glad we had the prior conversation.

What I can gather so far is when someone has been helpful in some way you can donate gold from your stash to theirs. Once a month you are allowed to cash out what you have through PayPal; basically, I it's an appreciation tool. The only thing I need to find out is how much a piece of gold is worth. I WILL find out though and when I know, you'll know.
Reply
buddhabuddy Premium
I found it...1 WA gold is worth 10 cents and you need a minimum of 10 gold to cash out (as long as you have a paypal account)

As you can tell by the name, I try my hardest to be a Buddhist. The funny thing about that is both religions (although Buddhism is more of a self-help book on roids) have at least 80 percent of the same concepts!

And that's called "Buddha Thumpin'" LOL

Not at all! I probably came across wrong....I just find it intriguing to compare other religions with Buddhism. For example...the majority of people that I've had a chance to speak with seem to think that Buddhism is the oldest "religion". What's closer to the mark is it came out of one man's head (a young disillusioned prince btw) who had a rude awakening by his first view of death and poverty. Sounds a little sad, I know, but it's a really good read. My point is it actually stems from Hinduism!

LMAO not to say I'm an ADD child, but I have a habit of doing that. I'm like that in real life too; beard, goatee, shaved, hair, no hair...you get the picture. I like to make people open their eyes wider...you see more in life that way! Besides, it's fun!

That is pretty weird! I will say that when I was trying to connect accounts and stuff I had a lot of issues with passwords and it got pretty annoying. I'm not sure how I got it to finally work. Have you tried to contact Adwords yet to see if they can help?

I'm letting you know; HELP!!! Adwords is giving me grief. I'm trying to create an account but no matter what I do they won't let me in! I posted this in the PPC forum

I'm having some issues here; AdWords won't let me create a new account nor will they let me use my existing one! They are also telling me that I'm still signed in when I know I'm not. when I try to sign in using my existing account all I get is a light blue page with
" Please to try again.
Please to AdWords again.
If the error continues, log out of your AdWords account, then log in again and return to this page.

Does anyone know what's going on? I don't know if it matters, but I'm using Firefox.

Sorry for the novel, I'm just trying to cover all the bases.

I left a post at their forum, but no reply yet...it definitely has something to do with the fact that I was using Firefox; 10 minutes or so ago I fired up Google Chrome (their own browser of course) and I was in within 30 seconds! I thought it might have something to do with cookies so I cleared them in Firefox, but it still didn't work. I'll find a fix one of these days...I'm like glue and fingers when it comes to irritating problems, I just can't let go lol. Just call me Joe Rockhead!
