Should I buy Social Network Followers & Likes?
I just wrote an article on why paying for followers and likes is a bad idea. I wanted to share with you my story and see if anyone else has had the same.
In a past online venture I decided to pay for 10,000 Facebook likes and 10,000 twitter followers. You guessed it mostly all of the accounts I payed for were fake and considered spam accounts. My expectations were, everything I posted would have tons of engagement and these new followers would sign up for what I was trying to sell. Not one person signed up or engaged, but wait it gets worse. Since I had so many followers that were consider spam accounts my profile eventually got shut down and the 50-100 followers that I gained that were actually interested in buying from me were all lost! I learned my lesson and wanted to share with everyone here.
Here is a link to my new post if you have a story about paying for followers or likes I would appreciate a comment about it.

Hope this will help save a few people from making the same mistake I did!

Actually I never knew that you can PURCHASE "likes" and followers. This is one of those rare "ignorance is bliss" moments. Thanks for posting.
Well that is perfect I guess you can't make the mistake of buying them if you didn't know you could! lol
Glad you posted this, so many think there's a quick way to buy followers and have a better chance of selling them stuff. Hopefully anyone here considering buying reads this first.
Thanks for sharing your story Brok. It is a clear warning for anyone who is tempted to waste their money in this way.

I'm glad you learned your lesson and thx for sharing. I too must admit, that I had the same situation a few years back. I bought links to my site.
I can't even remember which service it was just that I didn't benefit at all from it and it ended in me wasting money, just like you did :D

I have been warned about doing this and the adverse consequences. I might add that it also applies to website backlinks, and when this happens, the search engines do a number on you, especially Big Daddy, Google!
