We are living in different times now. Technology is going to only get faster and better. With that brings out the worst in some people. Crimanls work just as hard if not harder to take your hard earned money. Sometimes I get really impressed on how there able to do some of the things they do. Remember we don’t think like them and they do this full time so they have time to perfect it. unfortunately there’s not a lot we can do but just be aware

Just use common since no body needs your personal info for any reason and if thymes do. Call back to the normal number you call. Since I’ve started down the affiliate marketing road. I’ve had my phone ring non stop for 8 months. I’m even at the point of shutting it off. The things they ask amazes me and some things are comical. The only thing is they wouldn’t ask if it hadn’t worked in the past.

the only suggestion I have for now is if you to contact the number below. Hopefully the more that get caught. The more will stop. Just don’t fall victim we all work way to hard,

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) is the main agency that collects scam reports. Report the scam to the FTC online, or by phone at 1-877-382-4357 (9:00 AM - 8:00 PM, ET).

Thank You

Britt

Here's one of my favorite stunts.

Tell them "I'm so glad you called! Can you hold on a minute?"

Then put the phone on mute and speaker phone so that they can't hear you, but you can hear them.

It's hysterical to hear them wonder what to do when you don't come back. I've also gotten off quite a few lists by doing this when I got identified as a problem caller!

Hope that helps,
Jeannine

I’ve done that too, Jeannine. Let them spend their dime and time. Sometimes it’s good to have the last laugh.

That's absolutely my favorite thing!

That's great! Reminds me of one of my favorite YouTube & Ted Talk personalities, James Veitch! Notorious for his anti-scammer antics.

Some good info here, Britt! Thank you!

Jeff

I don’t answer my phone unless they are in my address book. I let them leave a voicemail message.

If I’m considering doing any business with them I get them on video and verify their residence location. Primarily United States 🇺🇸 and mostly local Minneapolis Minnesota.

I need to look them in the eyes 👀

The eyes 👀 are the windows to the souls. lol

👍Yes‼️

Sometimes it is hard to know if your windows are dirty, until after you clean them. 💕

Lol

Thank you for sharing Britt I agree there so many scams around these online and offline we have to be aware of as many as we can to avoid being scammed. That's why I like to spread the word and raise awareness of scams even if it attracts negativity or unwanted attention.

If you keep getting scam phone calls or other unwanted calls block their phone numbers. If you can;t block it from your call history there are apps you can download that allow you to do block calls. I'm here to help you need it.

There are other members on WA that expose scams like I do. You might them interesting to. Stay safe Britt. Thank you again for sharing Britt. All the best to your success.

I just block every number I do not know. My phone is set up that way. All unknown numbers do not ring. When I see a mis call, I block the number if I do not know it. 🤷🏾‍♀️
