Good evening business friends,

How is everyone doing this evening? I have gathered some infomation as to why your visitors are avoiding your e-mail list. May you find this useful.

Note: Most all of your money will come from your e-mail list. If you have not known about this before starting affiliate marketing, don’t feel bad. I didn’t know this as well. I used to think that most of my monetary gain will be directly from my blog posts.

Try to start your e-mail list from the very beginning. It doesn’t matter if you have nothing to sell or have no traffic.

Don’t get mad like this!

Follow these basic tips below:

You’re probably not doing these:

1) If your headline doesn’t grab the reader’s attention, they’ll skim over to the next one that does.

2) If you do have pop-ups, and they appear too soon, this will or could lead to a fast exit from your website page.

3) You visitors think they will not see any benefit if they join your email list.

4) You’re probably not offering a content upgrade or offer free stuff like a PDF or an e-book.

5) If you are not providing enough opt-Ins on each of your blog pages, then they will probably forget to do it.

6) If you don’t answer their questions in the comment section, your new visitors will most likely avoid your e-mail list or will unsubscribe if they have subscribed.

Please leave your thoughts and comment below. Thanks!---John

Hi John, I have recently set myself up to receive optin signups. So based on what you have listed, I feel I'm on the right path. I posted a link on all my post directing people to 'open the link' that, in turn, will take them to my landing page. (First time I ever used a 'landing page). No signups yet! it's been about 2 months.

My main concern is how do I get folks to 'click on', from one post (with a short link) over to the 'Landing page?'
(I don't want to end up like the GIF Character)LOL!

Can you tell if there were any clicks from your "open the link" to your landing page? I'd like to know your exact words for your C.T.A.- Call-To-Action. I just want to see if you're using the wrong C.T.A. words. All the best!

Hi John. My exact words on my post are: "Still Searching For Love? Let Us Show You The Way (Optin Form Opens In New Window)"
(The whole line is a clickable link, but No signups.) I'm starting to think no one knows my landing page exist!

Okay, I see friend. Let's change something around.
You can try words like "Get access now! - under the click button to your landing page.
More call-to-actions : "Yes, I want more please!" or "Sign me up!" or "Send me (specials, newsletter) now!" or "Get started today" or "Yes, I want to learn more!"

if you're giving something away you would want to use C.T.A. like
"Claim your free (download, Trial)"

These are power C.T.A words. You can use them instead of "Let us show you the way". Try to use a button and place any of these call to action words underneath it than just using plain words as a link to your landing page. May this be of help to you. Let me know how it goes. All the best!

Thank you my friend. Now I'll just have to find a way to turn my link into a 'button'. Any suggestions? Where can I grab one?

Thank you my friend, for your suggestions. I spent the afternoon changing things and doing what you suggested. (I was really glad to get rid of that link) I created a button now. The 'call to action' text is better!
I'll give it a week or two and let you know how it's going! Thanks again

Very well then friend. Take care. All the best!

You can bury the link into the image friend. In your word press dashboard, under edit, you can click on the image of the button. You'll see the edit option and there it will let you add your link.

You will want to set it to "open to a new window" which should be your landing page. Let me know how it goes.

To get your link, you can copy it form the address bar of your landing page, providing that your landing page will have the information and sign-up forms done right. All the best!

Good advice, John.
Thank you.

You're welcome friend. I appreciate your comment. All the best!

Excellent tips and advice, John
May I add if nothing is of value, no one will opt in

Thanks friend. That's true if nothing is of value, no one will opt in. I appreciate it. All the best!

You're welcome

Excellent tips John. The better the offer, and the way it is presented, the greater the results will be. All the best.
Jim

Thanks friend. I like the offer path. It does spark a stronger interest. I appreciate your input. All the best!
