Today is here aka 'A beautiful 2nd chance'....

While some may be waking up to their last day of life or maybe getting the news that we all dread to hear...you have ___ years, months, weeks, or even days to live. I mean, how do you even begin to process information like that? Could you even begin to know what their immediate thoughts or renewal of their "Things to do before I die list" AKA "Bucket List"? Does everyone you care about know just how much you really do care? What about grudges? Hard feelings or a fight with a family member years back? Did you ever think that you would get a "life is over" stamp? No! Absolutely not! That is not how we see our lives ending at all but it happens everyday and some people never get a second chance after the one that they woke up that morning. What about those moms ad dads that never make it home from work? Or the children that never make it home from school?

This is "just life" and it goes on...just not with everyone that it started the day out with but it doesnt have to be that away in some cases, we can choose to be less careless on the streets and more careful with our words so not to offend the aggressive. We can choose what we put into our bodies as opposed to what we shouldnt even think about trying, much less making habit out of of the things that can kill more quickly, like pain medication, street drugs and alcohol. So then, why do we choose that route so often opposed to the alternative of living the gift of life the way were meant to live it?

We often never look up from our phones anymore to catch a glimpse of the pain and suffering that someone else may be going through? Or how about that child that just left school from being bullied and is in search of any weapon that they can find on the streets? Our children our killing one another with their tongues and we are too busy looking down to even notice. Another suicide after being bullied all year long at school but the parents never seen any signs? What stage did they get to on Candy Crush this year? Or what about the school shootings? These parents never even knew their kids had an anger issue? Now this doesnt ring true for every parent, but in most cases, sadly enough it is.

So for those of you are contemplating suicide today, there are hundred of terminally ill patients that would give anything for a second chance . For all of you tat were bullies in school...remember what you acted like or the child you bullied acted like after being bullied? Do you see that in your child or maybe someone child that you have been around? We need to notice our children and what is going on their lives before it is too late. Those of you who are in addiction....there is help out there and it is waiting on you to get there and IT WORKS if you let it! Those of you are leaving the house in a hurry this a.m. ....slow it down behave on the roads like every car has your child in it! You will still get there regardless of how late you are running...question is~ Do you want to get there alive? How about having to pull the phone out that teenagers pocket that you just hit so that you can scroll down to "mom" or "dad" because the ambulance isnt there yet and you know ts the right thing to do because you would want someone to call you in that same situation. I won`t even get started on texting and driving because I will leave that for another early morning 'rant' but just please dont do it ~ it kills more in a year than ALL diseases, suicides, wrecks, accidents, and anything else you can think of COMBINED!!!

So now you should be getting up to the very same 24 hours that we were all given this morning when we woke up.....what will you do with yours?
