Behind the scenes under posts and pages, there are sections for SEO Title, SEO Description, and SEO Keywords. Are those fields supposed to be blank? If I type something in th

I also have that same blank SEO experience. I’m still confused on how to get those blanks filled. Some say it’s not important to have those filled. While others have said they should be filled. ??

Click on your post and scroll all of the way down to the bottom. You will see a section that says your page title. Underneath that you will see description and keywords. Fill those in and hit update.

Thank you immensely. Can those be modified from the ones I wrote at the top?

They should not be blank - I they are not saving I would contact Site support.

Have a look at this post from Littlemumma - it explains it all a bit better for you. Paul

Thanks!

Hi Brandoju,

I usually leave those blank. It may be an option when you upgrade to SEO pro but so far I have head no issues leaving this blank.

Stephen

Thanks for the reply. I see you have categories indicated on your some of your posts. How important is that?

Hi, are you referring to a post or page within your Word Press admin site?

That's it. Yes! For each post there are the 3 SEO sections where you can enter data. Mine are all blank and when I enter something, it doesn't save the data. Are those fields supposed to be blank?

They should not be blank, Seo Titles should be 55 characters no more than 60 and SEO descriptions should be 155 characters, no more than 160. Once you enter content in those you should be able to click "Update" and save them.

This is what I see. There is not an update button. Just Apply which appears to do nothing.

Ok, I see, go ahead and click on the link to the Title and then you will see your entire page, scroll to the bottom and you will see the Meta sections.

Got it. Thanks for your help.

You're welcome

Do you mean in the theme itself? If so, go to your wordpress editor, Find appearance in the siide menu then select customise and look for something that says front page, header page or something like that - mine for example says "frontpage sections".. All themese are different.

Ok. I’ll see if I can something like that. Thanks!
