Getting There
I have been wanting to get in to affiliate marketing for several years. I had someone working for me a while ago who started affiliate marketing and went from making a few dollars to quitting his job and doing affiliate marketing full time and making well over six fgures doing it. He did it really fast (in less than two years).
I was always looking at programs online and everything I looked at appeared to be a scam. I would revist the web every so often and see if anything new was out there and it was the same old story. A big long post with a price tag at the end to join.
I basically stopped thinking about affiliate marketing until recently. I searched the web and found WA. How it didn't pop up in my prior quests is beyond me.
I have just finished lesson 2 and I am pleasantly surprised that this program appears to be working and I get closer and closer to having a functional website as each day passes.
I started last Thursday and am really excited about what the future brings. I am almost addicted to this process as I just want to continue with each lesson and keep moving forward (unfortunately the job gets in the way currently).
I never really thought that I would be the owner of an actual domain. The niche I chose was in the golf world because I was a former professional and am still an avid player. I don't get out as much as I want anymore with the office job and a family, but I get to get to play enough to satisy the desire.
My goals here are to make around $5000 per month within the next 12 months. I want to have multiple sites (over 10) with multiple niches.
I know now how much work goes in to this. I always thought it was a walk in the park. You find a product to sell, put some links on a website, write a few paragraphs and wake up every morning and see how much money you made overnight. HA!
I am super excited to finish my current site and get it fully functional and ready for the first sale1

Ya, I always thought it would be a lot easier too. Turns out it's like pulling a tooth every time I have to write content. Don't get me wrong, I love the writing, but STARTING the writing just makes me want to scream and cry on the floor like a 2 year old. I have no idea why. But I have learned that while I'm having my tantrum, and grumpily complaining that I don't want to do this, I am googling and finding stats and writing thoughts. Pretty soon it's 2 hours later, and I have a complete post.
So, now, I write before I do anything. And that helps with the tantrums!
Good luck with your goals. I bet you will roll right past those lines in the sand you have drawn. Go and get what you want!
