Website Hits
So it's been two weeks since I started this new venture and so far I have to say I am fairly encouraged.
First off, I never really thought that I would actually have a website. Second, I never really thought that I would have a functioning website in a fairly short amount of time.
I just recently signed up for Google Analytics. It is somewhat discouraging and encouraging all at the same time.
I know you are supposed to be patient and go through the process, but I have to say that I am disappointed that I still can't find my website on any of the keyword searches I do on Google. All of my content/posts has been indexed.
On the other hand, my wesbite is actually getting 1-2 hits per day (that aren't me). somehow The funny thing is most of those hits are coming from overseas.
How that works is beyond me, but I'll take whatever traffic I can at this early stage of the game.
Hopefully soon, I will wake up one morning and see my first sale. Once that happens, I'll start to think this actually can happen.
