Three Years and Counting.
Three Years...
At first, it doesn't seem too long, but then again I sit here and think back. At the time I joined - Donald Trump was almost halfway through his Presidential term and we have a new one there as well. And in the last three years, I have seen a few changes and met so many people here I can consider friends and look up to for advice and pointers.
A few other events in my life occurred as well... I was fired from my job, then rehired, and then passed the 28-year mark with the company this past March. My daughter finished Elementary School and will be a Middle Schooler this coming year. My wife's business has taken off and now she must consider hiring a helper. I have created three websites personally, and now changing gears to better my success.
What Else?
I have learned from some mistakes and have finally figured out a new path for myself and am focusing my energy on that. I have created a schedule for myself to better manage my time. This was a must for me as it is the only way to see any success with my new website.
Fellow WA members have come and gone and/or don't spend as much time here. I have increased more time here. I came to a realization that I need to balance time between my website and here for my success. My reasoning... Google does see what we do here and what we write here is also ranked.
There are some members that mentioned that there is a need to spend more time on our websites. Because that is the reason we joined. To learn how to build a business with WA and be successful. I totally understand that reasoning. But, I also understand the need to balance our time between the two. It's best for our success.
So... Now What?
Personally, I plan to do exactly what I spoke of above. Balance my time here and my website. I also need to be spending time with my family. So, that's where my time management will play an important role. I have projects that need to be accomplished at home as well as on my website. The last three years of meandering around with everything has slowed my success and acted as a speed bump, so to speak.
I am committed to being fully committed. Yeah, I used it twice in the same sentence... (sorry to the grammar police out there). So, that's the long and short of it.
I hope you enjoyed reading this. I hope it wasn't too long.

This is a terrific post! I agree with you; don't let family slip away. Too much time working is also degenerative for family. I commend what you said highly! I feel you must invest in learning the platform; learning to be proficient at blogging and interpersonal communication. If you are a rush, this isn't for you. And normally they are no good; they just don't offer the security, but people are used to gimmicks and quick income scams that in the end usually disappoint them anyway. But the focus has to be there and I have already seen impatient people looking for "quick."
I know this is long term, and I knew that going in, and that is what I was looking for; tying it all up in a year or two. I see blessings are flowing for you.... that is wonderful and I'm happy to hear the words you said. Great post! Wisdom rules! :) I'm engaged for communication skills and a strong business interpersonal platform.
Have a good week Bob!
Thank you, Denise. I've seen a lot here in those three years. I am with you on one point. I saw the possibility of what WA has to offer and knew from the very beginning that I would be in it for the long haul.
Have a great week as well!
Congratulations :) Anniversaries are always a great idea to take time for yourself and celebrate :)
I wish you many more successful years :)
Thanks Jeff. I just don't know how I would have made it this far without reading from posts like yours and many others... too many to name.

Congratulations. My three years coming up in end of January 2022 I think. Invest your time in building your business, otherwise time would have been wasted. Many members are not active on this platform, they are still getting their premium membership paid for free and clear with their referrals, thats passive income for us. Think about that. In it for the long haul.
I do think about it a whole bunch. My view is to keep a balance. But, I have also learned that if I don't keep the focus on my website... it will not produce any income for me either. That I have learned the hard way. And one of the things I am changing for my future.
Thanks for reading and commenting. I take everything in and value any advice I get.
