Days of Confusion and frustration

We all have missed something in our life by now or later. No body is perfect but those missed opportunities can bite you after it's realized.

I just found that out a few days ago.

I wasn't so busy with my program at WA for the last few month because of moving and a big, time consuming renovation. Additional the ongoing procedure in our days life with my disabled wife didn't made it easier.

So, I've forgotten to renew my domain. I found that out two days after the expired date because I couldn't open my program anymore. In my case the domain was hosted by "namecheap".

Now the trouble started for me, I'm by no means a computer literary guy. So, I tried to do anything I could think of but it always went in to the wrong direction.

Suddenly I had the invasion to go in to live chad in order to get the appropriate answer. It was a good decision I made, in the beginning of the conversation and it was also a good experience to learn because it was the first time I've used it.

After about one hour in to the chad my frustration started to grow because of all these security question about old documents, data, domain and username over and over again.

In the meantime I had to stop the conversation because of other obligation. New chad - new person. I explained and asked for redirection. Time was flying.I was told to open the former account but I couldn't because it was out of date. I don't have the knowledge to jump from one page to the other in a hurry.

The chad was ongoing and I tried it all over again and again. In between I opened up a new account with the same domain I had before ( I thought) just with a different username. Without knowing at this time that there was an error - one letter was missing in the domain from my former domain. In my sense I thought the matter was cleared up.

No, it was not - in fact I had both another domain with a missing letter and a different username. Here we're again not knowing it was happening.

Further chad brought me in to more frustration - I didn't know what to do anymore. Finally all the efforts we had made was canceled because of all the mishaps. I couldn't do it anymore and the assistant did it for me. I was so confused and couldn't think straight anymore.

So, the final chad went on for 31/2 hours talking about the situation to end the misery. I'm happy now to go ahead in my program with my former domain and username. It shows with duration and determination it always leads to success. As a reminder for all of us: Don't forget to renew your domain in time -(like I did) it safes you lots of grief.

I'm happy to be back and work on my project. All the best and success here at WA to all the readers and friends.

Wilfried
