The link to your website does not work. Can you check it again and post the correct link?
Posts are supposed to be linked to categories. Pages don't have categories. Perhaps you need a page instead of a post.
My question is when you click the newborn category, just above the post it displays "categories:newborn". I don't want that
Like I said perhaps you need a page instead of a post.
Categories do that. If you select a category then WordPress delivers that category and names it so your visitor can see where they are.
If you don't want it as part of your blogroll then copy and paste it into a page instead of using a post. Then add the page to your menu.
When you've done that go to Settings > Reading and select Front Page Shows a static page and choose the new page for your front page. When you have lots more content this will all make sense to you.
Thanks for the reply Marion. I was searching for the solution I am aware of the fact you mentioned above. The reason I choose to link it with category is, if I make page for every single content then there would be more pages and hard to manage. Do you have any suggestions?? Do you think it's a good idea linking pages as sub item in the menu?? Just it looks neat.
I use categories and sub items in my menus. Check out http://FreeAndCheapEbooks.com to see what I do with my menus.
Edit. I just clicked on my link to make sure it was correct and discovered that the theme I'm using would fix the issue you're having. The theme is called Mantra and it's free so you can install it in the usual way. It has lots of customization options so I'm sure you'll love it.
