Should a little Brother listen to his older Sister
When you have parents to tell you what to do, you listen to them and do as they say simply because they are wiser than you.
Well can you say the same with your sibling?
I have had the privilege to look up to my big sis my whole life. But for the past 4 years she has been away in prison because of a deadly car accident on the highway. And the predicament comes down to this...
I don't want to go to college BUT I want to be a good bro to my sis no matter what.
She wants me to go to college BUT I want be around for my little sis who needs me around.
So I am thinking about just going to college to help her feel like she helped me with whatever but if I don't does that make me a bad brother.. I mean I should listen to her since she's older than me and all. I just feel like it would be selfish of me to leave my little sister with my parents..
Overall this has just been on my mind. I want to do the right thing and in the end I want to be an inspiration to my sisters by working hard in what I believe so it can rub off on them.

I don't mean to inspire you not to go to college but with all your passion and hardwork for online marketing, I am very sure you will succeed in no time. People go to college so they can graduate and find a job. I have a fulltime job myself but being 10 years working makes me just want to do online marketing at home . Follow your instinct. I am sure your big sister will understand if you choose not to follow her advise esp if she is seeing you succeed. You sound like a very good brother and your parents have brought you up nicely. :)

haha. your sister is never too young. my daughter is only 20 months and i plan to blog about how to do all this things once i become successful. my target audience is my daughter so she can learn this too and have the option and freedom of what she wants to do with her life. how crazy is that haha
That sounds like a tough deal there Billy - I think your sister will admire your attitude here, and realise how much you love her. I bet she will be happy whichever you do, as long as you are building towards your future? Let her know how excited you are by what you are doing and just prepare to help her when she comes home again? Hope all goes well for you

Hello Billy and my oh my--so impressed of your attitude. You are a caring person and value family ties. I suggest, prioritize college as it is your future to betterment. Your parents can take care of your little sister. Once you attain a college degree, better work, better life that you can share with your sister and family. Remember, time is precious too.

I think your older sister just wants you to have all the options available to you, and she believes the best way for you to recognize all those options is to go to college. The old tried and true solution. Your little sister shouldn't figure into the equation, because in this topsy turvy high tech world, two computers and a Skype account is about as close as she is going to want to be to you as she matures into and adult. In a way, you are already involved in a university, and as such, it might be best to give your current endeavor your best effort before you start a new project. You're young, and there will be plenty of time to try college down the road. If you decide to go later, you'll be older and wiser, and college women love older men. Not old like me, but late twenties is good. Do a case study to show your older sister the possibility of success in this business, and she'll get it. You don't want to disrespect your sister, but you don't want to have regrets late in life either. Or go to college-what do I know?
Yeah, you make some good points. And I can tell when she tells me over and over again to apply to college that she wants me to have all the opportunities going forward. But I do just want to focus on WA for now too. And I am young and I like how the college chicks dig an older man. haha. That sounds like a plan haha. :)

Your welcome. Some of that is what I learned when I went to FSU. I didn't enroll, I just drove around campus a few times when I lived in Tallahassee.

No it does not as a sister with older and younger brothers all I want for them is to be safe, happy, well and doing well in life, being here at WA is like being at college, you also need to remember you are her brother not her dad and she knows you love her not an easy decision but at the end of the day only you can make it, and I always say do not make a decision that you cannot live with makes it hard on you, best of wishes
That I do have 3 younger brothers and 2 younger sisters and one old brother, I hope you can work it out between you two and you both feel happy and support each other best you can,,,I am blessed that I have great brothers and sisters

Hi, there Billy! ♥ Can you do online courses or community college? What would you like to do if you could? Protecting and caring for your family is a generous and noble virtue. Hold on to that, as it is rare these days. But, there are alternatives within education that you can look into for sure.

I have considered online classes but my sister wants me to experience the college life and meet new people etc. she wants me to have fun. And I am starting to dig it in Wealthy Affiliate. I'm learning a lot and getting so much encouragement everyday.
