The Right Thing at the Right Time - Wealthy Affiliate Membership
Today marks the end of my first 7 days as a member of Wealthy Affiliates program. I have completed courses #1 and #2, and am getting ready to jump into course #3. This first week has been an experience for me because of what I have learned about Internet Marketing. I have learned more about Internet Marketing here in the past week, then I have learned in the past ten years of trying to seek out this information.
This also has me thinking about what my realistic goals are. When you first start the program, you are asked to write down what your monetary goals are. And like most, my goals were lofty, very lofty. But now that I have created my website, and I have a much better understanding of what it takes to build and maintain a website that can generate revenue, I want, … no I need to revise those goals. So, here is what I think I can do …
Within the first month as a member, I want to generate enough money to pay my monthly membership fee which is $47 dollars a month. That would be (($47 * 12 ) / 12) + $14 which equals $48.16 per month. To reach that goal, I would have to sign-up at least three new members, or build a website that can generate that much per month.
Within six months, I want to sign-up at least one hundred and fifty members.
Within one year, I want to reach the goal of signing up no less than three hundred new members.
Then repeat that pattern, for each year after year for as long as I live. I am thinking of ways that I can accomplish the above goals, but I also think that the training at WA may also hold a way to help me make that happen.
To reach my monetary goals, I have decided to build a successful website (which is the primary reason for becoming a member), and to be an affiliate for the Wealthy Affiliate brand.

Welcome BillyGE to this awesome community. Two weeks back I went to one of the giant book shop in local area to check out any books in internet marketing. Unfortunately, they didn't have a single one and they have been felt sorry about the inconvenience as they don't keep that area of books in their place and surprisingly I couldn't find one even in my town. So what I am saying, it is precious informations and lessons you will get from WA. Wish you all the best.

After checking around, I was able to find a local college in my area that does have one class on Internet Marketing. I just do not need it now. I have Wealthy Affiliate.

Billy, you are doing a fine job. I started 1-12-16, I have three websites, one of which I already had. The other two are not complete, and I believe a website is never complete or finished. Good luck with your endeavors.

A tacit admission that comparable training programs are extremely hard to find if they exist at all.

Yes, your are correct. It is difficult to find comparable training anywhere. In my area, a local college does offer Internet training and but only one Internet Marketing class.
