Evergreen income is an income you can depend on even when you are not working. One example is a retirement income accomplished after years of work and savings. Another is any kind of subscription service such as insurance or magazines where you make a sale and the income continues year after year.

The internet gives us a unique opportunity to create an evergreen income.

Everyone should strive to maximize their resilience. What is the definition of a resilient person? It is anyone who has the knowledge and resources to take advantage of opportunity and spring back from adversity. Becoming resilient requires planning, preparation and the financial resources to deal with any emergency.

The internet provides a way to create our financial resilience.

Find your niche. Create your website. Promote your website. It is simple and it works when you do it right.

An internet business has many advantages. You can work from anywhere you have an internet connection. You can set you own work schedule. Once your website is set up it will continue to generate sales with little work on your part. You can leverage your time to be able to pursue your dreams. It is relatively inexpensive to start and you do not have to stock inventory or hire employees.

Set up your website, establish clear goals for your business and work on those goals a little bit (or a lot) every day. Consistency is the key to success. Never give up and be tenacious in pursuit of your goals.

It's important to have clear goals for your website. Most people set a goal to make a certain amount of money within a certain time. The problem with that kind of goal is that you cannot control it. You can only control what you do to create that income. I will create three new pages or posts a week. I will spend a half hour a day posting to social media. I will spend an hour a day studying how to be a more effective Internet marketer. I will talk to five people a week about my business and invite them to join me.

One aspect of setting the money goal that is worthwhile is to ask yourself how much additional money you need to be able to pay down your debt. Then ask yourself how much money you need to earn to be able to live your dreams.

Finally, ask yourself how much time you're willing to invest to achieve your goals.

There are three ways to monetize your website:

1. Promoting multilevel marketing companies I am working with;
2. Promoting products I can sell for other people; and
3. helping local businesses and organizations leverage the Internet to expand.

Always remember that your website is a sales funnel. Establish a relationship with your website visitor before you pitch a sale.

Learn your craft. Study and become an expert people go to for help.

Use tracking IDs. Track everything you do so you know what works.
