Count Your Blessings
I bring up this topic today because I got a phone call from a really good buddy of mine who is struggling through a breakup with his girlfriend.
I get called around midnight from my buddy telling me that he has been in a car crash and that he had went head on with a power pole.
He was going through deep depression and we all know how that could be. I was telling him to count his blessings because the lord has given him another chance at life.
His car was smashed up so bad to the point where you would say that the person in it didn't make it, but luckily he only came out with a couple scratches and bruises.
When you know your friend or family is going through a hard time, please take the time to check-in on them and comfort them for just a little words of wisdom can go very far. I was sad and mad at the same time because I wasn't there when my friend needed me because I was so busy with work.
This was an eye opener for myself and for my friend.
Live everyday like it's your last day for we may never know if tomorrow will come. Take care everyone and may we all have a great day/night and continue pushing forward to success.

We are going through a cancer battle with my dad - counting your blessings brings everything into perspective
Hope your friend has a full recovery. But it does take time to heal from an accident. Not just physically but also, emotionally.
Sometimes, after a trauma, it helps to find little things to be grateful for, a cup of coffee in the morning, listening to birds singing, or going for a stroll in a park. It takes time to heal and it's important to be gentle on yourself, while healing.
Counting your blessings helps in the healing process and also, helps in our daily lives.
Thank you Barbara very much and I'm glad he did to because now we can plan for a better future.
