Solving Your Current Success Problem
OK peeps.
I have come out of the wood work finally. I have been a member here for close to 5 years now, starting from scratch and becoming what many of you would define as successful. It didn't happen over a 30 day period and my success wasn't the result of me doing the same thing that I was doing before I found WA.
In fact, I had to think different....think in a way that I was not used to and get completely out of my comfort zone. There is a famous quote by a guy you may have heard of called Albert that I think everyone here that has not reached success (whatever that is defined in your terms) or that is still working towards their goals should read.
You are not going to solve your financial problem by doing what you have done in the last 5, 10 or 20 years. If you have been buying many of the S**T (excuse my language), then you need to stop that. If you think your habits from the past are going to lead to success in the future, you are DEAD WRONG.
Change it up, change your mindset and open your eyes to the opportunity that WA offers you here. If you are sitting around wondering if this is going to work, then you are thinking on the same level you have for the last empteen years of failure.
Think on a new level, the level that has allowed me to achieve a full time life online This is what WA allows you to do and either you can continue doing the same damn thing you have been doing for years, or you can start thinking on the Wealthy Affiliate level.
Do yourself proud.

Oh, boy, Jake! You are so right! Another thing folks might have to do is move away from negative people and start hanging with more successful people. No one is going to go very far if s/he keeps getting barrells of ice water thrown on 'em constantly. And that's a FACT!
The weird part is people will sit there and take another barrel of ice. Me personally, I get the shivers and go running for the warm water.
I read a quote from Bill Cosby recently that said something along the lines of one's desire to succeed must be grater than one's fear of failure. Cosby's statement seems to go hand in hand with what you've shared. I believe all the tools I need to succeed in an online business are available within WA. I'm unfortunately still struggling to maintain my courage, as a lot is riding on my success. Thank you for sharing. Between you and Mr. Cosby I've got some encouraging words to hold on to.
I think I have heard that quote as well somewhere, another good one for sure. Stick with this, I see it all the time. People that drive through their first couple of months online will prove to themselves they can accomplish awesome success but you have to get through this first awkward growing stages. I know I had some.
Hi, Mamalama! I know what you mean when you say a lot is riding on your success! Me, too! I'm praying for your success, as well as my own...But we can't lose if we just keep going every blessed day! Just keep putting one foot in front of the other, so to speak. Big Bank is right...We've gotta get over the first big humps!
Great advice. I am just getting started and realizing that with WA I need to be open to different points of view and stepping outside my "comfort zone" if I want to be a success and control my own fortunes. I think having a positive outlook and approach is great advice as well. If you believe you will fail, you're going to fail; you're setting yourself up for failure. Thanks for the pep talk!
So true. Step out into the wilderness and experience what is offered to you here. Over the years I have seen all the people that have been "changed" by this community, me being one of them. You should make this place your home if you want to build a business, this schtuff works.

Brilliant post Jake. You may not realise but the fact alone that you have been here for five years speaks volumes on its own. Many people have seen and even been victims of scams so it makes it so much more difficult to "believe" and walk away from the "safe" way of trying to get through life.
But I know this is the place I have been looking for. Thank you for following by the way, much appreciated.
If you want to walk the walk, make this place your home. I can't express this enough, there are too many bear traps out there that will snag you up if you go off venturing into the woods.
