Going Yearly Means Peace of Mind

So...after nine months on WA, somewhat less as a Premium member, I've decided to take the plunge and go yearly. Maybe you're toying with the idea too, and if so, you might like to hear what finally persuaded me to make the change.

There were several factors involved. It was only possible at all because I earned a little extra from my editing work to cover it and decided that, even though there are a lot of other things crying out to be done with that income, the wisest decision would be to invest it here. Here's why.

First were the long-term savings. Paying yearly rather than monthly saves me more than $100 over twelve months. To be honest, this was the least important factor for me. It's a big investment either way, but up until now my only option was to eat that elephant one bite at a time.

More important was the knowledge that, for the next twelve months, I wouldn't have to worry about whether I would come up short one month and be unable to pay the $47 fee. I know $47 isn't a lot, but sometimes it's hard to come up with when your work is inconsistent, as mine is. Now I can devote my time and mental energy to writing content without worrying that I'll have to put my account on hold or scramble to move my website. That peace of mind is invaluable to me.

For me, going yearly represents a commitment to this business. It means I'm ready to do what it takes to make my site a valuable resource for my target market. That I'm not hedging my bets. That I'm all in.

If you're on the fence and can possibly manage it, I recommend taking the leap. The peace of mind is worth it.
