Creating Habits That Lead You To Success
When you wake up and you know you have something to do, do you just lay there and go back to sleep? Do you continue to put things off and tell yourself, it will be fine?
How you show up for yourself is very important. If you want to be successful, you have to practice doing what you need to do.
It's ok to lapse, but you have to get back on that horse immediately and not let that become a habit.
Create habits that align with how you want to be.
What is the label you want? CEO, online marketer, blogger, master chef, bicycle expert... whatever it is.
You need to get good at creating habits because these habits will allow you become whoever it is you want to become when your subconscious aligns with what it is you want to do.
The best way to create habits are to:
- Make it obvious
- Make it attractive
- Make it easy
- Make it satisfying
Set yourself up for success.
Create a morning routine for yourself that you can stick to day in and day out...
Create the habits you want to reinforce who you want to become...
My example:
- Wake up and spend a few minutes reflecting on my dreams
- Brush teeth with opposite hand
- 10+ burpees to get the heart rate up
- Pace and read a chapter in a book
- Make a cup of coffee
- Journal
- Get on WA and engage
In the end... it's gonna be so ingrained in you that you will have the confidence to say...
IT'S WHAT I DO.
When you show up for yourself, you show up for others.
The confidence you will gain will become a magnet for success.
I have never in my life been so confident on what I can offer until today.
And it all started with creating habits in showing up for myself!
Never thought I'd recommend this book because I thought I knew it all from what I do, but what this book did for me was reinforce and validate that what I was doing was on par! It sat in my audible library for the longest time but something in me told me it was time to listen to it. The book was "Atomic Habits".
Have a wonderful day ☀️ Robert
