Celebrate The Steps You Take to Achieve Your Goal
I’m no mathematician but 0.01 + 0.05 + 0.50 + 0,44 equals 1.00. It all contributes to the sum or result. So if you are gonna celebrate your goal, it’s also important that you celebrate the steps you take to achieve your goal.
Dabble, dabble, dabble! Yes I do it. But if I didn’t dabble, there are a lot of things I wouldn’t have learned or been able to put together to form a process. There was a point where I realized that I’ve been dabbling and sh*t ain’t happenin’. But in time, with some adjustments, it eventually does. And when it does, you can now pull it out of your pocket to use it again and again or teach someone else that could benefit from it. So when you learn something new, even if it's the smallest thing, celebrate it and share it.
Probably most of my adult life, I didn't celebrate wins as much as I should. Does this ring a bell... "that's stupid", "you didn't know that?!", "even my grandpa knew that", "shut up", "I don't want to hear about it". Yes, this hurts people, internally, so please reconsider when you are about to spit out this kind of stuff. Ask me why I'm quiet? This is also why surrounding yourself with like minded people will give you that extra boost of support. And you will have people celebrating with you!
Finally, my focus is no longer about money and I can actually focus on the steps that will move the needle forward. One of my recent achievements was reaching Rank 100! 🎉 That may not mean anything or much to anybody else, but it does to me.
After nearly a month, I achieved it on August 7, 2024 by creating posts which I felt brought people some kind of value, building my network by chatting, messaging and trying to to provide encouragement and positivity and finally using the platform to learn and ask questions.
When I published a post, I celebrated it and knew that I had put it out to the world. When I messaged someone, I celebrated as I wrote to them because I was providing encouraging and thoughtful words... something I'd also appreciate to see (hint, hint). When I moved up a rank whether, a single or 5 spots, I told my son.. "look, look, look" and showed him, in all it's glory. And he cheered me on.
By doing this, it got me into a rhythm of practicing gratitude, practicing writing, reaching out to people I'd never normally do, and doing a lot of other uncomfortable things because this is a safe space.
I encourage you all to celebrate your small wins and I will celebrate them with you.
Today, this is what I know and this is my experience as I try to become the expert of my life. Thank you for taking the time to read this. And I wish you a wonderful day! ☀️

Your posts are thought-provoking and while I may not always agree with you, you certainly bring up points I wouldn't have thought of!
