Tell me please why? To make me stay longer? The
You can open a support ticket and ask for the editor window to be unlocked and to be provided with your FTP details.

The reason these are closed off is that many members arrive like myself with zero knowledge, and end up trashing their sites by editing code that's necessary or deleting files that are important!

That`s a problem! When I do have sufficient knowledge, some issues are confusing for me. Other hosting providers I worked with are open FTP immediately:)
I believe you are right and after 30 days I will recieve full control.

Another problem I faced with!
Editor inside the Wordpress dashboard doesn`t work.
Where is the hosting root access?
Maybe yes;) But I feel the problem is deep. Thinking about switching to another hosting provider;(
You'll need to have your own domain name (dot com) to be able to access your site via FTP. The Site Rubix subdomains do not have FTP access.
