To my success
MY JOURNEY TO SUCCESS
I took time away to move from an environment that was not livable. We were flooded out in April. Our landlord never checked on us or his property. We had to do all cleanup of three bedroom house Of course my daughter or I was of no use it all was on Jim's shoulders. We were invaded with every known bug I think. Mice and slugs were everywhere. No help yet Black mold soon appeared on the damaged flooring. Last draw when mold appeared. Debbie and I both have COPD and breathing that is a big NO. We have no car so looking was really hard. We decided to move back to Joplin. Leaving was really hard for Debbie as just a few blocks away were two beautiful identical baby girls. We've been here since November and have not seen them yet.
I won't get into the next disaster too much. Just say new landlord no better than last. As said before we had no car or way to go to Joplin to look for house. We relied on such a nice realtor or so we thought. Got here at 2 am and no key left. Neighbors upstairs were so nice then and the following week. They helped Jim break in to a very unsuspected sight. Nothing had been done as told to us and still to this day nothing done but put a shower head in three weeks after begging. No kitchen cabinets or counter tops. No fridge or range. I could continue but am so tired of thinking about nothing but promises after promise. We bought cabinets. Jim installed and painted them all by himself. We found fridge and range but insisted he pay for them as part of deposit.
I've had no rest of my mind but need to set this ship sailing again. I tried to start work on my website but can't find it. I finally found the blogs etc I'd made. I hope I can find my website. I was far from finished but at least I was someplace for expense and time involved. Believe me I'm not whimpering about all this because as my mamma taught me 84 years ago. Can't died in the poor house and count the day lost you didn't learn something. Believe me mamma I'm learning.
So here I go on my journey to success!!!!

Sorry to hear of your troubles Debra. Life has so many ways of creating interesting challenges for us. You have certainly proved that you strong and fully capable of dealing with them. The teachings of your dear mother has indeed made you strong in character. I wish the best for you in your new home and hope and pray that your new landlord will get better in his/her ways in the very near future. I also wish you all the success as you pick back up with your website. I know you will do well.

You have had some challenges for sure, all of which seemed to be out if your control. Good for you to start focusing on your website which you have total control over. All the best to you and your family during this time.

Sorry to hear about all the hardship. I really hope it will go upward for you and your family. Life is normally like that, after hard times good times will come and the sun will shine again.
You did well with moving because of the mold. It slowly but surely will steal your health and already be having health problems it is even worse. If I can help you with anything please contact me on PM.

I'm glad you found your site! Keep up the work. Black mold is very dangerous and if you were both breathing it before you got out - you should be doing some natural things to get it out of your lungs, nose and other places it hides.
