Which are you, glass half full or glass half empty?
Once a long time ago I was asked this question in a job interview <shivers just thinking about an interview>, and my answer to the question was this,
"The glass is full, it depends on what you are looking for."
I've realized in my life that everywhere is an opportunity to learn. What I have also realized is to not be judgmental of the training because it all teaches me something. Sometimes it will teach me what to do and other times it will teach me what NOT to do. Either way I am learning something.
I've had good bosses, bad bosses and some in between but regardless of which I can say that I took something from all of them. It is up to us to load the toolbox and make sure we pull out the right tool for the job.
Be optimistic, be eternally optimistic, your attitude will dictate your thoughts which will dictate your actions and we all know action speaks louder than words.
Surround yourself with the ideals that you want to live, if you want to be happy you need to be around happy people, if you want to learn something be around the people that know what you want to know, the list goes on and on but you get the point.
This isn't Webster's version of insanity but doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results would have to be a close definition.
If you want to be different then you need TO BE different. It starts from within, what will be your drive, your motivation to do something different, to be something different?
Take care and have a great weekend!

I love the quote that " Every day is a new life to a wise man". If you had a bad day yesterday, begin today refreshed and optimistic.
optimism (mindset) + plan + action + review + rinse and repeat= success...good reminder! Andy
Long ago I had learned the PDAC, Plan Do Act Check method of process management, like how you summed it up though better :) Thanks for the reply.
well, it depend on the hormones actually.. he.he.he.. (hey, I'm a girl, I can always blame the hormones, most of the time ...^_^... )
This is so true, and you do have the power to surround yourself with the necessary people and environment to achieve your goals. I learned this the hard way, and don't trust what everyone says. Thanks Bap
You're absolutely right, the power is ours, we should wield it carefully. Thanks for the reply.
Thanks, positive blog! My glass is so full, it's actually a pint. Sometimes even the whole darn pitcher! :)
Speaking of pints, enjoyed a couple with coworkers at an awesome brewery here in San Diego. If anyone is headed this way let me know.
