I need help with a few things, please and thank you

First of all... what do y'all think about my site?

mommadreamsrealized.com

I'm scared I've bitten off more than I can chew with it and I'm kind of getting discouraged with this one.

It's mostly being established simply to help other stay at home moms realize THEIR dreams instead of building on someone else's.

I'm sick to death of seeing my Facebook feed full of other moms, who are trying to bring another income into their home and still be able to stay at home with their kids, BLOWING EVERYONE UP with crap that is hard for anyone to believe in.

ItWorks, Thrive, YLEO, etc etc etc. That's SOMEONE ELSE'S dream. They could very well be bringing their own to life right now. SO MANY of them are absolutely brilliant. It's frustrating. I guess I have a save the world complex right now.

I really should've STARTED with my REAL money-maker. I don't know if this one will be beneficial enough to me. Seems as though everyone categorizes me with all the other indirect schemers.. ONLY 2 SPOTS AVAILABLE! Pffft

I don't know... Please tell me what you guys think and give me tips and pointers.. or tell me if giving up on the daggum thing is the best thing for me to do. Maybe go build my REAL money-maker and save the world at a later date.

And I have 2 other issues.

1. I have tried EVERYTHING to get my gravatar to work... to no avail. Site support directed me to this lesson and that lesson. I've exhausted every frickin avenue and nothing. I don't know what to do.

2. Where the heck would I paste HTML codes for

- Visitor counter

- Mailchimp pop up for subscribers

I don't have a clue what to do with something like that. If anyone could help me or at least point me in the right direction, I'd certainly appreciate it.

Thanks for your help guys!!!

With regards to your gravatar, are you using the same email for both your gravatar and your user profile on your site? Go to your dashboard and then to users and then to your profile and make sure it's the same as the one you entered for your gravatar.

Your site name sounds just right. Sounds like you have a defined target audience too. The good part is you have a whole feed of people who will, probably sooner than later, be plateauing with whatever business they're doing now, whether it be Thrive or ItWorks or whatever.

When they hit that plateau, you'll have a great opportunity for them that doesn't involve recruiting or downlines and they'll be able to see that first hand. The training at Wealthy Affiliate speaks for itself. Not everyone will say yes, sure, but when you have a great platform like this it's just a matter of getting it in front of the people who need it most.

:)

I finally got all this stuff figured out! Thank goodness! My computer even crashed over the weekend and believe it or not, I figured out how to remove the malware all by myself and didn't have to put out a dime. It was a 2 day pain in my butt though.. At least I HOPE i got it out. Seems like it's running as good as it was day 1 after i bought it. I hope something doesn't jump out at me again.

The free times I've been on here this past week I haven't seen you. You been hiding out or what?

I was hiding in Thailand :) Just got back a few days ago. Bangkok and Phuket. It was aaaaaaawesome!

Do you like travel vlogs? Go to youtube and search my Batman Travels channel. It's not any kind of affiliate link or anything like that it's purely for my travel adventures.

I'm still jet lagged a bit. My sleep cycle is backwards. But I had a blast.

Aww well jeezum! I didn't realize you traveled so much! I will definitely go check it out!

And who cares if you do have affiliate links? Why wouldn't anyone want to help make a friend some money?

I need help, Eric! When you go to my website and click on anything in the top banner menu all it does is bring you to blank pages, unless I've written something. Why won't it bring you to the posts I want to go under those pages? I have them set to those particular categories??? How do I make it where clicking there puts those posts there, too??

Will you please go look and see if you can tell what I'm talking about and how to help me! Pretty please!

When I clicked on money and dreams both took me to pages with posts. Inspiration and reality took me to empty pages. Do you have posts categorized under those empty categories? Cuz it seems like you've done it correctly with the money and dreams categories.

Mail Chimp has a tutorial how to input the code on your site and which code you should copy available for each form you chose
Just go to your mail chimp account login and search for help.

Wow! You truly had some things to get off your chest! Lol!

Don't be discouraged. If your goal is to help stay at home moms, then do just that.

People can only mistake you for one of the other nonsense "gurus" if you don't provide the VALUE they seek. Never mind the non believers, because they will always exist. Your concern is the lives of the people that YOU can help,

So don't give up on it. If the money is an issue, just create another site to solve THAT problem, but continue working on the mommy thing until it pays off. But, from what I'm drawing from the situation, financial reward isn't necessarily the most important thing to you. You actually want to be a HELP. Nothing wrong with that.

1. Try these. They should help 2. You can either post the HTML code within the CSS of your theme, which is advanced, so I wouldn't recommend. Or, you can post the code within a widget on you site

Whhheeeeeww! That's was a lot. Lol! I hope it helps you in some way

Lol yes I was about to implode with all that. Felt great to vacate. I've done ALL that with that ridiculous gravatar. Nothing. Will. Work. Ugh

Left you a comment on your link above. On your gravatar issue, I'm just going to do a 1-2-3 on it. This is what I do, so it should work for you, too. In fact, I added two for a new website I just created.

1. Sign onto gravatar dot com.
2. If not already there, upload the photo or graphic you want to use as your gravatar.
3. Sign onto your email account that you want to use.
4. On the gravatar site, click on "Add Address" and put your email address there. It will tell you that it just sent an email to that address.
5. From your email account, locate the email. There is a link in there that you click on that takes you back to the gravatar web site.
6. From the gravatar site, locate your email address and highlight it and associate the photo or graphic with it.
7. In your WordPress Dashboard, select Users and if your user is not there, add it. One of the spots asks for your email address. Enter the one you created above. Save it all.
8. That's it.

I'm not sure about your third issue since I don't use the visitor counter nor MailChimp.

Hope I helped you in some way!
Mike

I swear I've done all of that multiple times. I've added and changed email addresses thinking it may be the email not working. Idk what the heck I'm doing wrong.

In that case, it might be worth putting in a ticket to SiteSupport because that should work.
