Hi Matt it's Andre from Sydney.

Wishing you a Merry Christmas as well.

As i am writing this i can hear those storms over me so hopefully there will be no blackout.
OK publishing blog

For publishing a blog within WA

The steps are as follows
Click the pen on your top right and select Write New Blog

Then enter your title create what you want to write within the space and add any images you may wish. For images its best to select the insert image along the various tab select your images crop it and select done.

From there when that is done add at least two tags names where requested and click publish. This will now be published on the WA community group for all to see in particular your followers.

For publishing on your website

Log in to you website by going on to siterubix if you have your site held here.

On the left hand side select either page if you want it to be included as a permanent part of the top menu or select posts if you want it to be as a recent section which for most will appear on the side bar as a post.

Again whichever one you select you still need to create a title header.
write you content and add images tags are not required as for the WA Blog but you can if you wish you will find them normally on your page post you are on depending i guess on the theme you have chosen.

Once you are happy with what you have on the right hand side you will see the word publish and three separate section within that window

1) status if not already select published otherwise click edit then select publish.

2) visibility choose Public do the same in edit mode if this is not stated already.

3) Revisions this is only required if you have made changes in the past and wish to revert back to a previous edit you have done.

The first 2 parts are important so now you have you title created you have written you content as per Kyle training and are now ready to post.

When ready click on update this will update you post and this is where in the revisions you will see a number it may be 1 if this is your first post or number 2 if you have done to revise the post and updated again.

So update has been clicked WordPress will update this and you will find it is now ready for viewing when at the top of you post you can see view page and again you can re check to see if you are happen with the way it looks as now this is what others will see.

You page is now live.

With your pages or posts it is always a good idea to save your work outside of WordPress in case the site goes down for whatever reason and also to have the originally versions saved in case you made some edits along the way and also in case if you accidentally deleted something without realizing.

This way you can always go back to the original and re work on that.

Just in case I have created a training session on this if you wish this is intended to help others who may not have much experience in saving work with MS Word
