How is this not unique?

I figured I would use some of my business time to write comments for others, here is what I wrote.

"I was just about to ask about US laws too. I live in California and thought this might be a great way to get into sports betting. I love gambling (mostly table games), and I live about 75 minutes from Lake Tahoe where I can legally make a sports bet, but online would seem so much easier.

I don't know about most of the states, but here in California, I can place bets. However, it is illegal for anyone to accept my bet. So if I try to place bets with (Name withheld), they are the ones taking the risk. They can be shut down and pay massive penalties.

You mention Pokerstars on your page here, according to the source I am reading right now, they were ordered to pay $547 million in a settlement to the US in 2012.

So as I read this page with the hope to get into sports betting, I think I will pass and stick to Nevada as I am not out there to get anyone in trouble.

If I am ever out of the country, though, I will find your site again and check out what bonuses are available at that time!

Thank you very much for the information,

Richard A"

Other than mentioning the settlement suit, this should all be unique. Yet when I tried to submit the comment it said I was not unique. What do you have to do to create a unique comment?

I took out the name of the site just for the blog, of course, I used it in the comment.

Do you mean you get that "not unique" message posting a comment in WA or something else? I have never received that message so I'm not sure who even generates it.

I had gotten it from the sites comment area of WA. Evidently it sometimes does this when you try to leave a comment.

I have received the same thing. I get frustrated with the praise this is not unique. I don't understand. I would never copy someone else's comments.

It was very frustrating! But with some minor changes it went through.

I am glad you got them together

It may very well have been the, 'thank you very much for the information." I re-worded the ending and it went through. But hey, if anyone else has problems like this they can get great answers here from our awesome community.

Great you got it sorted out.
Wee tip for the future - keep a copy of your comment just in case you have this problem again.
I'm off for the night now.

Proof that technology is not always right.

I I'm totally lost. I have no idea what this is talking about.

When you leave a comment on someone else's site to gain credit to ask for comments or feedback, they check on whether or not your comment is unique. Whan I had tried to submit the comment I posted above they told me it was not a unique comment.

Hi Richard,
Was this query from WA's comment section or direct on someone's website? The reason I asked is because I had a similar message last week to a second comment I posted in the WA's comments. Initially I was confused until I realised that the way I began and ended the comment was similar to my last comment even though the body of the comment was completely different.

Check any earlier comments you gave just to see if there's any common thread in the way you started and ended each comment.

Good luck.

Thank you very much, I will try to change a few things. It was in the WA comments area. I am pretty sure I have never started a comment this way before but I will check.

Hello. This does happen occasionally (happened to me a couple of times).
The first time all I did was change a few words around then re-submitted and it was ok'd.
The second time I cancelled the comment.
Repeated the comment process and pasted in the same comment again. It was accepted so I'm guessing there has to be a small glitch/gremlin in the system somewhere.
Enjoy your day.
Robert

I appreciate your help, I will see if minor changes fix it. If not, I will try the copy and repost option.

worth a try anyway.
