being back
I first started with WA 5 years ago. It's a long story of why I was gone for a while, I won't bore you. But the main thing is...I am back and super happy. I see a lot has changed.
It may take me a bit to get to know my way around again but I will. I have two main goals, or maybe three. One is to start a blog with my dads stories. He passed away last year and I want to write about him. Mostly for the family because they want to know more about his stories and be reminded of things we were all told when we were kids.
My dad was a published writer. He also had many stories left unpublised. It will be my task to publish those and try to finish what he started. I miss my dad so very much. This is my way of keeping him close and sharing with my family, his story.
The other goal is to publish my latest endeavor. My hotshot trucking business. I wish to create a web site for it.
Then the third goal mentioned above...is for me. I like to write. It gives me great pleasure to put my thoughts and feelings to txt. I may not be the best. I may have a lot to learn. But I have to start somewhere and I can't think of a better place to do that.

That is exactly why i am writing my family book. The last of my grandparents passed last year. a full week behind my birthday and on the same day as my birthday, just a week later. I have begun writing the family book but I haven't completed it yet. Still trying to gather up as many stories as possible to add to it. I miss all of my grandparents.
I can say this that her passing has taken a toll on me. Because she was 86(Ruth: Paternal) and my great grandmother who passed in 2020 was 95 (Eddiemae: Maternal). I was close to all of my grandmothers. But not grandfather's because they all pre-deceased their wives. I barely have any memories of them. I was so young when the men passed away. I come from an old large family who were originally sharecroppers.
Grandparents who were all born in the 20s 30s and 40s. All i want to do is keep their memories alive so that i can look back on them and pass this information down to the next generation.
The ones born in 20s tripped me out as a teenager because at the time i didn't believe people could live so long from that time frame. Even though i have been around this age group and older all of my life. They just didn't broadcast their age 😂.
I joined Wealthy Affiliate back in 2017 and have been back and forward here for years. Just came back again in late 2024.
I missed them all so much, its like I didn't say i love you enough and I know I did. Apologies for the long response. Im still processing not having anymore grandparents around.
