I feel like I'm free falling without any control.

I just started about a month in and already I feel the stress. I am a full time college student, working and doing her internship part-time. The stress of adding new content every day and social media has gotten to me. My niche is one where ( I am not sure if it can be done without) but you need to be an influencer of sorts.

My website is already indexed and it has me so proud, but I know it's gonna take a while to earn my money goals.

And honestly the thought of being on YouTube and Instagram posting pictures has me panicking and I'm at the point where I'm wondering if I need to change niches. This is a niche I am passionate about but I am not a social person by nature, I don't like talking to people and I tend to be very cold.

I am looking at my Instagram page and just thinking I need to give up on this niche, cause I don't know how I am going to thrive without having a presence on social media with this niche.

Also no lie, The teaching and community here is amazing but that 47 a month membership got me panicking over expenses because it's a lot for me, I'm in Jamaica where the dollar doesn't match up against the US dollar so it's even more expensive down here to buy us currency.

I literally almost gave up, cause my mom is asking me why I'm giving my self so many expenses so young and still in college and it's gonna take a while to earn cash and I absolutely cannot afford the yearly membership right now though it might be cheaper.

Any Advice anyone?

You are overwhelmed and pressuring yourself too much - I am stressed just reading your post here! My advice is forget premium for now. Finish this month then don't renew, remember you can restart it at any time. Just because you stop the premium membership for now doesn't mean you are giving up on your dream so don't equate the two in your mind, which is very easy to do. The resources, people, training, etc here really are great, but almost 50 bucks a month can be grocery or gas money. There are a ton of great, free resources out there, and I'm always willing to share whatever I may have.

As for the social part, I am the same but I bet worse, I don't even have a "real" profile picture here and know I will never do any videos, and I've accepted that and will work around it. Maybe just don't try to put yourself out there all at once, gotta walk before you can run as they say. I don't know what your niche is (but I'd love to, PM me if you'd like) but unless someone's paying you I don't know why you would absolutely have to put something out there every single day right now.

I think all you need to regain a lot of that control is to give yourself permission to NOT do it all, tell yourself like you would a friend to let some things go for the time being, prioritize, cut yourself some slack and know that it's okay to do that.

Indeed it is not easy.Iam spending long time online researching and reading but I know eventually I will accomplish something.

I think this is the first time I went with my gut, I didn't really do much, research when I came to WA the whole time I had I'm gonna create a curly hair website in my head. I'm passionate about it and I've always tried to give my hair extra love.

Ashley, this is so difficult to give you sound advice. My gut feeling says hang in there. I too am not happy about going on social media, but my sites are starting to develop, so one day in the very near future I am going to have to bite the bullet. I was also scared of doing videos, until I found how to do them on Power Point. Now I am teaching my grandson and getting ready to launch my visit video on line.
So keep at it.
Best wishes
Stuart

I'm glad my gut isn't the only gut telling me to stick to it.

Keep on in there Ashley.

I'm going to keep trying but it is not easy as they say.

. You,could team up with other students and divide costs?
. Be part of another website
. Downgrade to not premium and wait for black friday in nobember which is super

If I downgrade Don't I lose access to my website

Be sure and read this before you stop premium membership.

Don't give up. Like any business, work and dedication are key. I too am not a social person by nature but, in today's economy, online is where it's at. Just look at the social aspect as a hurdle you have to get over to be successful.

I have a few videos (they don't have to be for every post) and I definitely share each post on social media.

As for the $49 a month...consider the 1 time $359 annual charge. It's a lot up front but equates to $29 a month which is a big savings.

I did consider it but I don't have the funds for the yearly costs right now.

Financial issues aside since they are covered pretty well in the other response.
You have to be social in any niche you choose. The whole point of a website is to connect to people and engage. I hated the social aspect when I started. I am a loner by nature. But until you start to open up and connect with people you will have trouble building trust and a following in any niche.

I understand that, I decided to use my instagram and pinterest, I am not open and I know its gonna take some time.

It's hard for me to keep this up financially as well. But you have already been indexed, congratulations! How far do you think you are from earning enough to pay for your membership? Do you have anyone you could outsource some of your social media posts to? Oberlo is doing a sweepstakes to give away a dropshipping website. I was reading the case study of how they built a profitable business in 4 weeks. It was kind of depressing, because they spent so much money to do it, and I don't have any money to spend, so I can't replicate their success. However they did mention something that might help you. Something called Missinglettr, and another called Buffer. I'm pretty sure there are free versions of both. I think the first is more about social media content, and the second is more about scheduling social media posts. I hope this is of some help. Here is a link to the Oberlo thing, maybe you can read it and pick up something I didn't.

If I can help in any way, or if you just want someone to talk to, feel free to contact me. It's not an easy world if you aren't full of money, that's why we have to stick together!

Thank you so much I will definitely check it out.

Thank you soooooooooooooooooooo much, I found Buffer and I feel like I probably can do this social media thing now

Wow. The money part is something you will have to figure out that I can not give you advice on. That is tough. Trying to follow your dreams can be costly. Although the $47 a month is not much for what we get in my opinion. For some it can be a lot. You have a lot going on! Which is great!

But building any business takes time. You are correct. It takes some outflow in cash, It takes a great plan. It takes commitment. I think you realize all of this.

So your a CEO of your business and your life. You have to make some decisions. You might need to change niches. Inbox me and I might be have some ideas for that depending on what niche your in.

You might be able to start making money online right now to cover your cost! Who knows!!!

But not having enough time to put into your website makes you feel like your falling without any control. Great way of saying it. I have been in the same boat this year. But I got my breakthrough moment .

So you have to have a plan. A schedule. Push hard! Try something new maybe. Think outside the box. Wait for your breakthrough moment!

I inboxed you, some help would be great because I really don't know what I'm going to do

I hear you I'm going on a month also and it's not easy. I looked at reviews and 90% don't make it. I keep going over lessons over and over. I think you have to have marketing experience. This is hard and stressful. I take care of my 93yrs old mother and decided to get income in the home rather then work out. I'm stress once I start dealing with this hopefully a light bulb will light up.

I am so sorry to hear that, and I didn't know that 90% don't make it. It scares me a little

Yikes me too! I went ahead and paid for the year I'm so busy half the time I'm not sure rushing this is a good idea.
