Making Progress
I find it incredibly hard to believe that at this point, any of the afflilate "Income" is actually a possibility, or better yet, a reality.
I want SO BADLY to believe ya'll.
But ultimately whoever's link I followed to get here is paying them (SUPPOSIVELY), scam or not.
I've not made a single afflilate sale, not for ANY product.
Which is amusing and discouraging.
I've wandered away from our WA trainings again, in a sense.
GOD knows I want to believe any of you have actually made it. I WANT to believe that this isn't a MASSIVE waste of time.
BUUUUTTT...

As your loved one's scoff at your efforts, as your spouse's lose intrest, as everyone you know starts to ask the dreaded question-
"How much do you make?"
Nothing. Absolutely, bloody, NOTHING.
Tell me someone has been successful. Lie to me, I guess.
Because whoever's link is about to lose their lovely little commissions, If there is one in any reality.
Which, yeah ok. Don't announce your departure, not an airport, blah blah blah.

Hey Ashley, I'm sorry you're so frustrated. This is definitely not a scam, it just takes hard work and lots of patience.
I noticed you only started here in June, which is very long ago. You need to set your focus on at least 6 months if not longer.
No matter what others may say online, building a business takes time.
I know this isn't what you want to hear, but it's the truth.

This in particular I started around May or June I believe. It's on and off, because I have an actual physical service-based LLC that I run full time as well. I actually got into the affiliate program simply to understand how to change and access the website I acquired in the company's take over. I have gone through the trainings to level 3 (making money) and I did do the affiliate bootcamp as well. The SEO of writing articles does drive traffic, absolutely. But actually having anyone buy anything through them seems like a no-go. I adapted the trainings to launch a dropshipping/printiful integration and connected everything to Facebook, Pinterest, Esty... so far its a whole load of nothing over here.
That's too bad. That's why it's important to use one website and one traffic source for 6 months to a year to get really good traction, before trying other things. And you're being on and off is hurting you too I'm afraid. Consistency is key.

How long have you been doing this? Have you followed and completed the training? What is your expectation for receiving an income from this? Have you asked for help and guidance?
Don't quit. This is not a lie, just takes time and training.

I joined around June, I think. Premium, anyways. I followed up to level 3 and started to find the training repetitive, expanded my traffic and honed down on my articles, Amazon, click bank, my own products that I added to try and supply another level of income… traffic is there. I publish about two articles a week, sometimes more. The niche was “new age” which I’ve recently narrowed to “celestial” with clothing and lifestyle attached as my own store. I don’t honestly have expectations of income now. I have half hearted dreams that have little expectation of reality.
Try going back to training. Remember, repetition is the mother of true learning. Don't get bored, just get more. It's not all the same, there are growth steps we have to take in order get it right and THEN the money will come.
This is a really encouraging comment and I really needed it right about now. I'll take your advice. Thank you. I mean it.

I am not sure what to comment on first. I know it works as I have made commissions. However nothing to live off of. I picked a very competitive niche and it will take a lot of content before I make any head way.
And clearly it works because you followed a link to WA. We just need it to work for us!

It takes time to develop the traffic, which you say you're getting, then the know, like and trust. Right now you, and I and a lot of people are brand new on the Internet. We're strangers to them, so, yeah, it takes 6 to 12 months sometimes, not always that long, but get the posts in and ranking, and the commissions will come.
Nobody expects a "brick and mortar" business to make sales or a profit in just a few months. This is a marathon. If others around you don't believe in you, you can learn to believe in yourself.
I know it's hard. Words are cheap. My folks never really believed in me, but I'm learning to believe in myself. People just have to know that you're not a "fly-by-night".
Millions of blogs get started every day, and millions abandon their sites, also every day. It's the ones that stand the test of time that become "overnight successes". Hang in there. We're pulling for you :)
