Is the switch to electric cars harming the world more than ever?

Many people will see that the hottest trend is electric cars (EVs).

Because it has both fuel economy and love for the world, after we started getting excited about the new stuff, it made us wonder if it loved the world. Who says they love the world more than a petrol car because it does not release waste? How could it destroy the world? It does not depend on usage or driving but on.

1. Production
2. Is to dispose of trash after use. Many minerals are used in battery production, such as NI, CO, Mn hydroxide, NI, CO, Mn carbonate lithium, copper, etc. But the core of electric cars is. You can hear it in battery production. It takes minerals Minerals must come from mining or mining itself.
This one is most important to lithium ore entrepreneurs who need to find lithium ore deposits. We've been digging like it's on the ground already, right? But lately, we've moved to the sea more because lithium minerals are located in saltwater lakes and under the ocean. This caused the demand for lithium ore to skyrocket even higher.

To produce 1 ton of ore requires up to 2 million liters of water. The question of whether this will make us more shortage of water resources by the disadvantages of drilling on the ground is already seen in The sea is no different because it destroys the ecosystem of living things under the sea. There is a continuous example, although electric cars do not emit Co2 gas during use during production, they are not inferior to ordinary vehicles. In addition, it may happen in the future. The lack of minerals is possible because they are in cattle, and copper is needed for other products, so people question whether they love our planet.
In the future, there may be a shortage of minerals because NI, CO, and copper are also needed for other production. This is another reason why people question whether EVs save the world.

In my view, we will not stop using the battery in the future, but we can't use it until it runs out. Manufacturers will also see this problem; they have to find a way to distribute the use of minerals. It is not the same; the government has to play a role in ensuring the safety of the miners and the drilling process because it works with chemicals and can affect the environment and people's homes. Who lives in that country with

The second thing EV cars may harm the world is the waste generated after use. He predicts that by 2030, more than 12 million tons of storms will have deteriorated together. This does not include the electronic waste that comes from small parts again. The battery of the electric car can be recycled. It is up to his size because if it is not handled correctly, the chemicals will contaminate the environment and affect our lives again. Because it is finished and used, it will also destroy unused batteries. Lithium has a unique recycling method than others because of its design and appearance; it is easy to disassemble even some manufacturers have said that the creation of lithium batteries.

Because if it is not handled correctly, these chemicals will contaminate the environment and affect our lives again. Lithium batteries have a unique recycling method. Scrap than others because its design and appearance are not conducive to disassembly. How much because the materials inside are welded together to increase the efficiency of use, but do not look at the point of view of recycling. In the future, we will have a better method. If we have a better recycling system, it might solve problems like waste and mineral shortages because they can be recycled. You can use it again. Europe and China have also passed a law requiring battery manufacturers to set up recycling centers. In addition, there is a reuse policy, meaning that we don't usually use 100 percent of our batteries. Electric cars, so the rest of them can be used in other industries, such as storing electricity from solar cells, etc. At this point, the problem may seem like there is a solution. But, it started to develop and adapt itself. The past impact has already happened. In the city, electric cars have disadvantages that are not different from petrol cars; why are people still pushing?

The problem may seem like there is a solution. It has only started a long time and has just begun adapting. The past effect has already happened since electric cars have disadvantages that are not different from petrol cars. So why are people still pushing? If we compare the pollution of one electric vehicle from production to selection, it still has less harm than petrol cars with a Zero policy that solves the problem. Climax Change makes using electric vehicles one of the solutions to reduce greenhouse gases that occur as another solution for reducing greenhouse gas emissions from electric cars. According to the policy, many countries want greenhouses Gas will be zero by 2050. At least EV sales will have to reach 138 million units by 2040. This makes many vehicles need to accelerate production and phase out petrol cars as soon as possible because every country has already pushed many people to use electric vehicles. Solving problems will not end there because of the adverse effects of electric cars, whether they are produced or not. That the user will still exist, so many countries have to Turn to push people to use public vehicles instead of the same. Every industry or technology has a negative effect depending on the advantages and disadvantages of which it takes advantage. More because, in the end, this is an Alternative solution or an alternative car to add more options for people. No one will force to use petrol or electric vehicles only but in the future more restrictions.

For example, gasoline may have to be taxed more expensive than others; it is no different from when we will choose to buy plastic bags. When you take your cup to a coffee shop to reduce the cost of a coffee? That's all; solving global warming problems is not only solved by using electric cars, but there are still many factors that we must take into account at the national level, and there must be a policy to deal with the industry. Others affect the sliding glass that causes global warming as well, and everyone thinks that EV cars love our world. Comments let's talk. This is all about this. Let's meet again soon.

No way I will ever buy an EV. I wouldn't do that to our world. The amount of destruction required to produce one battery is astounding. Sorry, but the recycling process for batteries is still a huge issue. We also don't have enough ways to produce electricity either. Wind power is very inefficient, and solar isn't dependable enough. When the EV batteries get wet, they can also easily catch on fire; it happened dozens of times during the recent hurricane in Florida. Nope.

Thanks for the message. I agree with you. My friends want to buy an electric car EV because they see more and more people using it. But I explained the recycling system is still a problem. And in the future, there will be problems

Arisara,
Thank you for such a wonderful post. It was quite informative, well-thought-out, and honest. Oftentimes, I have heard people demonize the petrol-powered car without doing their research on what it takes to manufacture an EV. There is tons more waste to manufacture an EV than a petro-powered vehicle. Once the research is done then a petrol-powered vehicle wins every time. I will say that as we learn to harvest the minerals needed more efficiently then we may move on to EV but not before.

Well, that certainly answered some questions that I had! Apart from the impact on the environment, there is also a practical angle to look at. My son-in-law bought an EV purely based on the sales hype that was fed to him by the dealer and the mainstream media.
What they didn't explain was the inconvenience of having to constantly recharge it. Yes, we all know they need recharging... that's the nature of the beast. But he had no idea just how quickly the charge would diminish, and he found himself on many occasions missing appointments due to sitting idle while being "plugged in". Missed appointments equal missed business!
The EV went from his driveway this week, and a diesel car arrived. He and many others will be happy to wait for major advances in technology before dipping their toes in the EV water again.

Thanks for the message; I agree with you.

I was wondering what you mean when you say many times,"Why are people still pushing?" For EV's or not for EV's, that is the question.

Gas and oil are not "fossil fuels," Rockefeller in 1892 only said that to increase it's "perceived value" and therefore to be able to sell it for more money! It is all biofuel and not fossil fuel, Old Rocky Lied! Which was certainly like his personal nature, as well as having thugs go and physically beat up his oil competition, paying the railroads to not haul the competition's oil, and other nasty tricks so they would eventually sell their businesses for pennies on the dollar to Rockefeller. He put all of these businesses into trusts so no one could see that he owned most of the oil-producing wells and refineries in the US, and many in other countries as well. look up what a guy named Fletcher Prouty had to say about Rocky.
Back to EVs, did you see the news videos of Florida during Hurricane Ian with vehicles under the water and on fire and exploding? Apparently, this is a danger to fully immersed vehicles and a danger to the firemen attending this. (Ask Eric Cantu, resident firefighter for WA and teacher of some fabulous Premium Plus classes!)
Wasn't it in 8th-grade science class the teacher dropped a small piece of Lithium into a beaker with water, and the metal flamed up and moved around a lot, and a small sample of Magnesium not in the air, but once in the air, anyways the result was it immediately caught on fire in the air!

Not ready for EVs and toxic waste, thanks for the post.

Suzay

Thanks for the message and additional information; I agree with you.

Yes, it's too early to jump in on EVs, I'll be looking for your posts as that was pretty darn interesting!
Thank you from Arizona!!!
Suzay

You make some very valid points here, Arisara! EVs are coming, but not in my lifetime. There are no power grids to support them and no money to revamp those power grids! They are also very expensive and VERY inefficient at this stage!

Jeff

Thanks for the message, I agree with you.

Thank you, Arisara! They are coming, but they are being rolled ot and forced on people to fast! Gas powered vehicles are much more efficient and can do SO MUCH more at much less cost.

Jeff
