Wealthy Affiliate, Do We See the Opportunity and Then Do we Act on it?

First off thanks for all the love for my special birthday .I really felt it! That is the greatest part of Wealthy Affiliate..is knowing you are a part of something so much bigger.

My mother used to say, my cup runneth over,...I so get that now!

So I want to share a story with you that happened to me yesterday on my birthday. Ready?

I am one of those people that if I am getting a present we are all getting a present and so i wanted to put together small favors for my family and friends that I was going to share time with this day.

I ran out to the grocery store early in the morning, about 6:30 , yeah early. And of course there is not much traffic in the store.

I am standing in one aisle, and I can hear from another one aisle over someone is singing to the music on the loud speaker.

And I just started giggling because this guy is having the time of his life. He is probably thinking he is all alone. And he is changing the lyrics to suit his mood!

So I off course cannot stay quiet, aren't you surprised?

And I said over the aisle...I am so happy to hear someone singing first thing in the morning.

And he said it makes my day feel better!

So I said keep it going, it is working for me too!

And he became even more emboldened and started singing with even more gusto! It was truly inspiring and adorable and I was just filled with the joy and sense of total abandonment of this moment.

And realizing we did not need to talk over the aisle, i went to his aisle and thanked him for starting my day out on such a high note. And said, Its my birthday thanks for making it shine already!

And I walked away and went to the check out counter.

As I was checking out, the singing man reappeared, and guess what he did right there on the spot?

In front of the store???

Yup, he sang Happy Birthday to me!

Wow! I was so touched..(And probably a bit embarrassed too.)

I thanked him a bit shyly but profusely.

And when I so happily repeated this story to my son, his reply was, don't you just love it when people see opportunity and they take it?

WHOA! YES YES YES!

And that is us...we get to do this every day every moment..we get to grab that opportunity and run with it...we get to just strive to be better..and soar to success..

And so I am asking all of us..what opportunity are you taking today???
