You want to be an Entrepreneur? Please be afraid of failing.
I am so afraid of failing. I don't know if any of you is brave enough to say that you are not afraid of failing.
I learned that fear is something that you have to face. Do not let it hold you back but rather use it to push forward.
Unfortunately, I found myself time after time that fear of failure freeze me. It managed to stop me even before I tried anything.
Analysis paralysis is most of the time the cause of it. I always analyse things thoroughly but after that, even the smallest risk hindered me from trying anything at all.
Regret is the second place in the cause of fear. Many times I didn't finish a project. Mostly because I encountered troubles. I asked myself why did I bother to start this. This trouble was too overwhelming. I didn't ask how I am going to overcome this. I know that because of this fear, I let go a lot of good opportunities in the past.
How to overcome the fear of failure?
1. Stop over-analyze things. If you have all the information needed to back you up, just jump out of the plane. Get your feet wet. Do not get frozen again.
2. Do not regret. I will not regret any decisions I will make again. I know that if I don't make a decision, it is a decision itself. I rather decide to move forward and make something than just stay frozen. Staying frozen will guarantee a 100% failure anyway.
I will admit that this mission statement is TOO SCARY for me.
I will put my foot ahead, one step at a time. Opportunities will be visited by me, moving forward. I just can't stand idle anymore and hope that opportunities will come.
The thing about fear of failure, if you don’t use it to your advantage as a motivator, it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.
I hope I have inspired you to become an Entrepreneur that is afraid of failing, but will be able to manage it.

This has definitely been me. A lot of the time I know what need to do, only I'm afraid to do it. Recently I've been pushing through the fear and just doing it - it gets easier!
I know exactly what you're saying, Arief.
And the whole thing gets compounded by resistance and legal difficulty, as people such as inventors could probably sing an opera about!
Thankfully, in our area of endeavor, things are a bit more streamlined, but the effort needed is similar!!!
Sometimes, confidence can take a bad hit.....
But no-one can actually ever stop our progress, or take the already established away from us.
That, to me, is the best news.......
You're right. The business here is made simple by the work of Kyle and Carson.
And our own progress is really depended on our own actions.

I'm afraid of failure especially doing this as it's all new to me.I just keep going forward...I read about others on here who are doing well and I tell myself there is no reason why I can't do well also....the fear is still there...however I just try to ignore it and stay focused on my goals of success...
We definitely need to learn to embrace the fear and go with it otherwise we would never try anything new :)
