Getting better in writing
Last Update: December 18, 2015
Thank you for those that always keep my spirit up!
I began my journey on writing content with the 200 words ability. I struggled and struggled and still struggling. I am now able to write with 600+ words. But that is still a long way to go. Some people here suggest that you need to have 1,200+ words article so that your website can be seen as an authority site.
So that is my new year resolution : To write article with no less than 1,200 words.
Practices make perfect!
Much love for you people in WA!

That is a giant step, and worth striving for as long as the words are meaningful!
Congratulations
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and yours,

Hi Arief, your post on writing is right on the money. When I was in college writing a 5000 word paper was easy, but that was back in the seventies. So I am sure I would have to practice to get it together again. And I don't have a problem with doing that. And I know that article writing is one way to drive traffic to your site.
But the question I have is wouldn't paid traffic sources be quicker? and are there any good easy to understand strategies showing us how to drive traffic with paid traffic sources like ppc, ppv, facebook, google and bing ads?
Finally, I have also been considering using content curation to get the information that people are looking for. So while I have written a couple of articles that have been published online, I would like to find a quicker way to drive traffic to my site.
And I know that there is no shortage of paid traffic if you know what you are doing. Start small until you find a campaign that works and then scale up.

Great goal Arief. It does take time to learn and feel comfortable with your writing. You will get there. I struggled to get past 600 words when I started. The other day I finished one that ended up being over 2400 words. That might be a little too long and may need to be broken up into separate blogs.
But it just goes to show that over time writing becomes more comfortable.
Keep up the great work and you will be where you want to be in no time.

Arief,
If your article writing is anything like this post then you are doing an excellent job. :-)

Hey,
don't worry.
That will become naturally for you one day.
It was quite similar for me in the beginning.
Even though I love writing, it is a different thing to write in another language (English is not my native language).
My first page on my site was pretty ridiculous.
Now I am writing between 800 and 1200+ words without a problem.
But sometimes you don't really need to do that.
If you have said everything that needs to be said, then you shouldn't force it and write more just to get those 1200 words.
Don't bore your readers.
Sometimes it can be better to get to the point. ;)
