I am so happy to announced: Be Shaved is launching a new business logo.

I have been postponing to have a logo for my shaving website. It was just a text logo before. I wasn't sure if I should spend any money to hire a designer to help me with the logo.

Then I learned about fiverr.com from this wonderful Wealthy Affiliate community.

I was surprise to see there are so many logo designers at fiverr. I didn't know who should I choose.

I browsed and browsed so many portfolios. Some good ones offer their gigs for more than $15. I insisted to search for $5 gigs only because I really don't know their qualities.

Then I found one whom I thought I can work with.

Communication is IMPORTANT!

I know that I need to communicate with the designer. I made my first mistake by ordering one without talking with the designer before ordering the gig. (This gig has not been delivered yet)

So before you order, talk with the designer. Tell the person what you want and whether that person will be able to deliver your idea.

Back and forth if you must. It is for the best. WHY? Because usually for the $5 gig, they only offer 1 revision!

But lucky for me, I have found a person that is willing to deliver within 5 days and give 3 revisions for a $5 gig.

I told him my idea that I want a clear logo. A logo that people immediately understand that this is a shaving site. I prefer a black and white / Grayscale logo. He said he can do it. All of this happened BEFORE I made the order.

I placed the order after I satisfied that the designer UNDERSTOOD what I want.

This is his first design.

I immediately love it. He delivered the design so quickly!

But I do not like the straight razor image. I doesn't look like a straight razor at all. The tail looks like a hanging zipper, too.

So I send him some of straight razor images to help him understand what I want. This is already considered as my FIRST REVISION. Do you see how fiverr works here?

After I consulted him about what I want (in a long description), he delivered the second design.

I am over the moon with this design. I immediately approved it. No need for further revisions!

DO YOU LIKE IT? I certainly love it.

Conclusion

1. Browse the designers
2. Browse their portfolios
3. See how many gigs they are handling right now. If too much, they may take time to deliver your order.
4. Consult and COMMUNICATE before you order. Give them details about what you want. See HOW FAST they reply.
5. Order the gig (or not).
6. When asking for revision (probably, you only have one), make sure you describe everything in details about what you want.
7. Receive your final design.
