Learning Through Commenting
Part of my daily routine is to write two comments on two different WA blogs. For me, the idea is actually selfish more than helping others have content on their blogs.
Reading other people's blogs and articles is a learning experience for me. different articles from different people with different interests is great exposure to many life facets.
Yes, I do skip some blogs, because they are way out of my interest zone, but the ones I read I truly enjoy.
Just yesterday one of the the two blogs that I looked at was one that talked about time management. Apart from being a strategy consultant, I also train and life coach. I also have a time management system of my own.
Reading yesterday's article which was written in a very nice voice, and a very light tone, a bulb lit in my head about something that I was struggling with organizing for a while. I finished the article, happily wrote my comment, and went directly to my whiteboard to start working on the new method that came to my mind.
It wasn't what the article said, nor did the article say anything I didn't know about time management. Just reading the topic and the language that was used, made my mind work and found a solution to something that has been stuck for a while.
Therefore, I enjoy reading other people's articles which became part of my daily routine that pushes me to do the rest of my daily tasks.

I do the same thing Rami. My daily routine involves checking WA for new blogs, new training, and/or new questions from the community. Both help me expand my horizons and learn new things/new perspectives.
Wow, I love this, unfortunately I cannot do all of this, as my days are divided into multiple business areas. But, ya, that for sure expands exposure, knowledge and experience.

I find that I learn something from almost every blog that I come across. Even some of those that I would think I am not interested in help me learn as you did - indirect things instead of specific facts.
