Nervous about balancing wealthy affiliate, my website, and school!
So this is going to be kind of like a diary entry because I just need to get some concerns off my chest and hopefully someone out there can relate and give me some advice. I am starting online classes next week for my psychology degree and I am getting really nervous! Every second of every day I am thinking about my website....I love waking up everyday and going straight to the computer (after coffee of course) and looking at my website with fresh eyes. I didn't expect loving this as much as I do. Of course my first love has always been psychology and my degree is important to me and it will be really beneficial to a marketing career, I'm just nervous that I am not going to be able to juggle all of it....any advice from anyone with a similar situation would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Don't feel alone April, because you're not. The feelings you are having are typical of many if not most (if I may have the privilege to speak for them) people here in the community, including myself.
A little apprehension never hurt anyone so long as you don't let it paralyze you.
I see things going like this ... you start classes and find your school grove. The days you do assignments, the days you post to threads, the times that you read etc. Then you will easily see where family intertwines through the week.
You will have some time left for WA, your website and much needed and ever so important personal decompression time.
I bet you will even be able to work some of your school work and website writing into each other. If not it will be fun to tell others in class that you are a internet marketer, website designer, SEO specialist and so on .... think sales without selling. Maybe you get some sales or at least some traffic.
Don't sweat it April, all will be fine and the puzzle will fit perfectly once you have all the pieces in front of you.
if you need anything let me know.
hey, how far along in the training are you at this point?
ROCK ON!

thank you so much! That helps put it into perspective a little better! Right now I am on course 3 lesson 3, joining 2 affiliate programs.....I have written a few blog posts but not much traffic yet.....
Cool, I am happy to know I helped you.
Absorb everything in the training . . and in school. You will do very well.
I gotta go for now April. I'll have to check out your website.

The key is time management. I juggle 4 things right now including the my website. Managing your time by scheduling specific time periods to manage our site will help immensely. You do not need to devote endless hours to the site just a disciplined number of hours per week.
Your education in Psychology should take precedence as it needs your undivided attention so limit your website hours to when you can focus on it.
The content you are writing about will gear how much time you need per week. If you are a detailed oriented person by doing extensive research into a topic hen you need to measure the time commitment based on the delivery of the blog. Posting once a week is fine as long as it contains information that would trigger the search engines to rank you.
But again, learn first, play later.

I treat this like a second job. I actually schedule time to work at WA during the week based on my other commitments. As a second job I make sure I go to work and do the assigned tasks.
Very good advice thank u
