I built my website so how long will it take to start earning money?
Last Update: Jan 21, 2023
Ok so you built your website congrats that’s a start and it should already be based on your selected Niche.
Just know that just because you built a website doesn’t mean it is finished and you are ready to earn money.
Know that your website is never finished it is in a constant state or progress and you continue to write build write and build your content along the way.
Then rinse and repeat.
You have to realize you are building a business online takes time to build.
As for how long before you earn money that is entirely dependent on you.
First know this Affiliate Marketing is not a get-rich way of making money fast.So ask yourself these questions.
How much time are you prepared to put into creating content for your website?
Do you really know what your niche is about is it too broad or too narrow?
Do you have experience, do you meet Google’s E.E.A.T requirements?

Are you prepared to write constant content based on your selected niche?
When you first create your website it can take up to two weeks for Google to index your site that is find you on the web.
With Google when they find your website they want to know what is your website about and also whether are you helping compared to just selling at the start.
In the meantime, you will be writing regular content and keep writing content for the benefit of your readers.
If you can, best start writing at least a min on 2 posts a week on regular basis 3 even better.
The more regular and constant you write Google will notice you more as they crawl your site.
Write unique, original, and informative content for your reader's benefit with the aim of helping and not selling to their faces.
Many affiliates may not see any money coming in till about the 3-5 months in general, normally for most till about the 12 months mark before you start seeing the financial benefits.
Joining Affiliate Programs
At the start of creating your online business you will be writing informational content only without the thought of making money nor would you be looking to join any affiliate programs.
Affiliate marketing programs what to see your website and see if it is a fit for them to accept you.
Along with the fact you need to build traffic to your website first before you become an affiliate of other programs
Think of this no traffic = no visitors to your site + no sales.
So start with the informational posts to attract your specific readers and build your traffic first before you even consider joining an affiliate program.
If you write informational posts with the aim of helping, Google will love you provided you are writing unique and helpful content.
So will your readers and as you build trust with them they will come back to read more from you and not others.
To understand more about writing helpful content you can refer to Google guidelines on helpful content below

So start helping and not selling if you want to find success online the more work you put in the better it gets.
Change your mindset to a positive one

An informative post.
My site is more informational that sales. Despite this, I can assure any in doubt that when one has no traffic and not much content many affiliate programs will deny an application. I've been denied for one myself, and expect to be on another I applied for.
I do have some I got accepted for and am moving forward with those. But yes, many definitely want to qualify the blog before blindly accepting.
Thanks for a great post speaking many truths on this.
Regards,
Jason
Thanks Jason when I started I went for the sales as well joining affiliate programs, fortunately, it worked at the time for some but a couple I got rejected as well due to the rush to join.
have a great weekend
