Street Articles - From Hate To Love
I must say that I hate Streetarticles at first because most of my articles got rejected due to their strict rules. One of my early articles got rejected 3 times and I got really frustrated.
After reading Kyle's post on "Organic Milk Benefits For Children" and how it got ranked I wanted to give this article writing platform another go. At the point of this writing it still holds the #1 spot on Google for the keyword "organic milk for children".
My first stop was to read through the publishing guidelines and to keep in mind when I'm writing an article. Some of the points that I keep within my mental note are:
- No "make money", "earn money", "free", "best", "become rich" in the title
- Article requires proper spelling and/or grammar
- No promotional content
What I care about was the benefit that the person on the other side of the PC/ laptop/ tablet would gain. I just believe that by writing well the traffic would flow naturally.
To my surprise, all the article that wrote got published on streetarticles and start to see traffic. By using streetarticles, my writing skills improved and I am able to put my thoughts on to a paper or for this matter a blog. I've found love for writing through streetarticles and that is my hate to love story for the platform.

I would say that hate would be mild compared to my feelings about SA.
However I realize that if I want to put out an article there is no better place.
I have managed to get published a few times on SA but they make you actually write, aargh.
Writing, frustrating!! In order to maintain quality for those that actually create quality content, we cannot let others abuse the system. There are many other low grade article submissions sites if you are looking for that (but the poor rankings will also come with that).
Once you understand what Street is looking for things will become much easier.
Hi Anwar, I'm happy to hear that you are getting your Street articles approved and that they are getting traffic. We are very strict with the content that is published at SA because we know that only quality content will get ranked. We essentially force all Authors at Street Articles to refine their skills until they are writing quality...it's part of our training process :)

Yes, I did some article writing and was glad to get the rules and follow them. Giving information and personal experience instead of selling is the kind of thing I'd like to read myself. After all is said and done we are all human beings not just consumers.
