What's Stopping You From Starting Your Dreams or Growing Your Blog?
Most people are excited about the concept of starting a blog. The idea seems like a good opportunity to really do something they always wanted to do. Even though it sounds good, but most people don't move forward with their dreams for some particular reason.
You might be experiencing this feeling right now at this moment.
So wanted to ask you a simple question. What's stopping you from starting your dream? Believe it not there is some issue that you're facing right now that's keeping you from moving forward and trust me you're not alone.
So in this discussion, I want to point out some reason that could be the problem. Shall we dive into to them......
Reason #1
Fear: I am not talking about scary movies, but the fear of not knowing anything about your niche. You might be saying something like this in your head right now. "Who's going to listen to me?" Why should people buy from me?" My English is not good at all, how can I communicate with people? Or "What if I fail?" " What if I succeed, then how am I going to keep up?" What about my age? Am I too old to learn about blogging? My money is tight, "What if this is a waste of money?" What if I don't have time do this?
So yes, fear is the biggest reason that keeps people from starting their dreams and growing their blog. Think about this for a moment. Do you have a friends, idol, or mentor, that is successful in their business? Let me ask you something then. If they can be successful, then why can't you?
What makes them different from you? Nothing they just decided to do something.
Reason #2
Lack of knowledge: You would like to get started, but you think you don't know about blogging. You've decided on your niche, but the lack of knowledge is stopping you to finish the race you've started. Maybe you think you don't know a lot out your niche.
Your mind plays a big role in whether you continue going on or throw in the towel. Here's my advice. We live in a world of information and the internet allows us to search for the knowledge we're lacking. If your niche is about how to build a tiny house.
Search the internet for information about tiny houses watch a YouTube video about how to build tiny homes. Do you get my point?
You have the knowledge right at the fingertips and with a click of a mouse, you can have access to all the knowledge you need for gathering information for your niche.
Reason #3
Technology - Some people think the technology is too complicated. How do set up a WordPress blog? Where do I go? What equipment do I use? How do I shoot videos? How do I use this equipment? Your mind is racing with negative thoughts.
These are questions of technology that is stopping you from going forward with your dreams. Remember you don't have to be a member of the geek squad to figure things out.
There is a much easier way to get learn.
Go on YouTube and search for the solution to what you need. Figure it out. Search out how to use the equipment, What it's used for, how to get the best out of it. Learn how to use it.
Example, Say you want to start a podcast feature on your blog, Why not search of video training about pod-casting, learn what kind of equipment is needed. What kind of mic you need buy. What kind of setups is needed to start your pod-cast etc,
Don't let technology keep you from getting started on your dreams.
You can learn how along the way.
Hey listen this is just three reason, but there are plenty of other reason why you can't move forward with your dreams.

Thanks Anthony. I can pass for reasons No. 2 and 3. But you are right it’s #3. No I have no fear of #3, except that that I have no idea of coordinating my niche with Jaaxy or word press. I’ve made my niche but I don’t know how to paragraph them, or indent them and how to use word press to classify or put them in order .I’ve watched and listened to all the lessons but as you mentioned about age, maybe it is what is ihindering me from understanding. Thanks for suggesting YouTube. It might help.
For those held back by fear of failure and anxiety of the unknown, think about the benefits of success that come with this opportunity. See and feel what it will be like when your desired revenue stream is steadily rolling in. Life is full of self-fulfilling prophecies. You act according to your beliefs, and you become what you think about most. So choose to focus your attention on the possibilities, not the impossibilities! Believe you will succeed and you will. Believe you will probably fail and most assuredly you will. Expect the best, get the best!
Some people view their glass as half empty; others as half full. That sets their expectations and performance. Note that both are missing a key point however, that either way, the glass is always refillable.

All of these fears are a start of anxiety. Whether it be, social, emotional, dramatic stress or life anxiety. These all set us up for panic or fear of failure.
Personally, my anxiety steps in when I try so hard to get somethings right, and it just don't work out.
Fear is holding me back a bit. Sometimes I get concerned that I put all this work getting my site up, thinking it's all safe, then something virus jacks it up because I didn't bother to set up some antivirus/antihacker plugin.
I think all the above reasons are valid, also a lack of confidence that whatever you do might be good enough.
I think for me it was the fear that so many people are already blogging, so how successful could I really be at the niche I’ve chosen. I have a blog and I’m implementing everything I learn here daily. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Anthony. Like you rightly said, the greatest problem is fear. So many issues that deters people from taking step always help to fuel their fear.
Until one is able to work on his fear, he will always run away from taking a big step towards his dreams.
Fear IS a big issue with many people, but it is not necessarily the fear of failure; Many people fear actually succeeding at something and that sabotages their efforts!

Thanks 21. Yes you are right. It’s technology that’s slowing me down. I’ve listened through the lessons but just couldn’t connect using word press and jaaxy on my niche. Thanks for suggesting youtube. Illustration is clearer. Now I should be moving forward. I’ve been 4 months with premium membership and yet slow to learn.
