Throughout everyday life, there are rules - limitations in sport games, driving guidelines out and about, religions practices to submit to, ordinary rule of peace and law for the security and smooth working of local area.
Certain individuals like to have rules to observe, they have a good sense of reassurance knowing careful limits, they comply with the principles and can be extremely critical of the people who don't submit to the standards.
What's more, others could do without rules (particularly young people!) This period of life is a period for people to push and test everybody and everything around them. It's funny when you say the younger people. I do believe it's all how we are brought up. Most younger persons cant think outside the box therefore they cant imagine life any better then what they have now. Its when one tells the other that they shouldn't be doing those things.
My grand daughter is a prime example of having cluelessness she didnt graduate got prego early lots her parenting rights hangs with the wrong crow and cant see why everyone doesnt want to help her. I've told her many times shes burning her candle at both ends and is now starting a fire in the middle of the bridge. She is 23 has her own place but sleeps at her great grandmas house cause she cant sleep by herself.REALLY.says she thinks someone is watching her. Anyways not to get all caught up on my problems this was another eye opener and a testament of how powerful your thought process is Cheston. If it sounds good to you.then I'm glad you let me read it. Rules are the bonds that civilised society must pay for living together. To live in a safe society we must have some structure in place. It is that fine line between rules and over rule that we need to keep an eye on.

I can be a rebel and not necessarily follow the rules. However, accountability is needed, I would do.
More so, I would think that also comes from within and what you want from your life, your purpose. Then you adjust and adapt however feasible to accommodate the goal and what you hope to achieve.
That's so true but most persons don't look at it from that perspective they think that it's inadequate no need to follow those rules and regulations.

I certainly had to live within the rules when I was young, but I remember always testing. As I got older, I began to realize the reason for most of the rules I tested.
