Is this a bug?

Good morning members. (At the time of this writing it is morning where I am.)

I have noticed lately that some blogs and responses received from WA have been showing up in my email spam folder. I select the not spam button to send them to my in box.

Could this be related somehow to our recent "spam gate"?

Thank you.

Hi Cheryl,
I too have received Wealthy Affiliate e-mails in the "junk folder". It happens more often when I let WA e-mails build up in my inbox.

I just have to be careful and not deleted any.

Thanks for sharing.

Bill

You are welcome

I don't think so, Cheryl! It has happened to me a time or two. Just keep any eye on your junk folder from time to time!

Jeff

Thank you for your response

You're very welcome, Cheryl!

Hi, I don´t think it has anything to do with "spam gate" as you mention. It will happen in between, it does with me occasionally with every email provider I have. You just have to "whitelist" the affected email again.

I always check my spam folder before deleting anything.

Roy

Thank you. Spam gate was my little joke.

Yeah, I know, Cheryl 😄

Cheryl, another member has also shared this experience with me yesterday.

Thank you for the info. I know this has started happening. I have not had this problem before. Maybe yahoo has changed something.

Thought it was Gmail.
I have Yahoo and I have been having that problem
Sometimes the email also disappears as well

Nope if your email provider does not recognize the email addresses, they will simply be placed in your spam folder.

To avoid this happening, if you know you are receiving an email from someone, add their email address and you'd be fine. They'll arrive at your inbox in the usual way.

Thank you.

Abie, I just thought this unusual since I have received emails from these same people before and they just started going into spam.

That'd true the first time you receive an email, like when it's a sign up confirmation. Reg mail should not all of a sudden end up in your spam folder.

Thank you

You're welcome!
