Hi folks,

Here is my new WA affiliate marketing website. After being here for about 1.5 years, it is now time to tackle WA. So here is my new site and I would appreciate if you could take a look at it and take the time to comment on my site.

Thanks so much. :-)

You need a email sign up form to the bottom of the post. What you don't want is One Time Visitors.

What you do want to do is keep driving repeat visitors to your site.

Here is the logic. A quick and brief explanation. If someone reads your whole post that means they liked it. They are now warm leads, not cold.

This is the perfect time to ask for their email address so you can keep to One Time Visitors coming back. And ask them to share your content, build a larger audience.

Using the same logic there are more changes I would make. Such as changing the Navigation Tabs at the top of the page.

Since they already like you the chances are they'll want to know more about you. And most importantly what else you will do for them. So you need a "About page".

There is a one or two more things I would change.

Hey Craig,

Oh I agree and I will get to it. I just have a mess on my hands with my cooking site that I have to finish re-doing.

Wordpress and their infamous updates. So I will get to it as soon as I finish fixing the other website.

Hey Craig,

If you look in the footer area of my site, you will find my "About Me" page. I made sure it was done before the launch of the site.

An "About Me" page is a misnomer. the name of that page is confusing.

It's not about me, or you. It's about what your readers. They want to know what you are offering them. It's your Mission Statement. Why your blog exists.

It's said after a first time visitor reads and likes your content one of the pages they'll look for is your About page.

If that's true then an About Page belongs in the navigation bar where it's traditionally located. That's a familiar place for it. It's where visitors will look for it.

There's a format for writing About Me pages. First the problem your blog is going to tackle. Then you hint about the solution your blog offers.

Then after you have reader's attention, after you have warmed them up, when they are receptive and ready for more then you introduce yourself. And tell your story.

Lastly, you tell readers what it is you are offering them. Once you have them in the palm of your hand you hit them with what they really want.

Finally when you have them drooling, and hot for you, you ask them to subscribe to your email list.

If you want to see a nice example let me know.

I personnaly prefer mine in the footer or in a side widget. I have the advantage that my name is well known for the reasons you know. ;-)

As soon as I finish fixing the other site, I will take care of my signup page on the new one. It's hard to tackle everything at once.

:-D

Yeah, I know what you mean. It's a lot of work up front.

:-)

I think your site looks wonderful! Very well done! I agree with Nenad as having "admin" visible and in so many places makes your site more vulnerable to being hacked.

Great presentation, visuals great as well, simple and easy to navigate, content, reviews… all the elements that should be a great foundation for success! :)

Hey Julie,

Thank you and yes I agree, my admin will be changed to my name. I will take care of this today as the theme is new to me and I have not yet figured out every aspect of it. :-)

It looks great!

Thank you. All that is left now is to create my email campaign. I have to look further into this with Thrive leads and Aweber.

I definitely think your work will pay-off on this site. Very clean, not cluttered… simply very well done.

Thank you my friend. :)

Very nice site you have! Just one thing, I would change "Admin" for my real name.

Thank you and yes, I will do that when I figure out where to do it as I did not find it today.
