I just published a post. Then I went in the incognito window to check some previous posts rankings for quite different keywords.
Google showed me my post (published minutes

Do not have enough info so this is just guessing.

1. The previously published post is badly ranked.
2. Perhaps its targeted keyword is mentioned somewhere in the new post, as a link, tag, or accidentally.
3. Perhaps only some similar phrase was mentioned.
4. When you search for this keyword, Google shows you the blog roll where your NEW post is with your keyword. This can happen because the home page (with the blog roll) has far more authority than any single post, in partilcular badly ranked post. I have seen this happening with new posts.

Hi Jovo,
Thanks for the help.
It looks like 1,3 and 4 of your thoughts are the key.
I'll just wait couple of weeks to see what is going to happen.

All the best

Keyword stuffing?
Are you trying to change the keywords of a particular blog, several times within a short time frame?

It could be that what ever you are doing has triggered Google to black list you all together. Any thing we can think about to trick Google has already been tried, believe me. Best concentrate on simply writing great blogs and don't try to over do it.

If you're not then, I'm not sure what it could be... All you can do now is wait.. Don't mess with it anymore.. I've heard that the algorithms are constantly being changed.

Hi, thanks for the response. No keyword stuffing, all I have I just one keyword per article. Not trying to change the keywords.
It seems that I have to wait to see what will happen.

Hi,
Thanks for the prompt reply.
I will try to re-fetch those posts, although I'm doing that always after publishing the posts.
Should I update the sitemap as well?

Thanks again!

Trust me I fetch all my posts to after I publish and it still happened, but once I submitted it again, it corrected itself. Submitting your sitemap ould help too, doesn't hurt to try.

Hi Jaime,
thanks for the insight. I just re-fetched all of these posts and hopefully, it will be better.

I'll wait for a few days and check it again.

Thanks for your time!

All the best!

No problem at all, hope everything works out.

I had that issue before and I just let google re-crawl my site and the issue was fixed. Maybe try re-fetching those posts and see what happens, that usually works.
