Looking For Some Motivation

WA is famous for the supporting community that we have here. Today is one of those days that I'm going to rely on that and ask for some inspiring words.

I've been here for a month. I have worked very hard and achieved a lot within that time but all of that means nothing when my posts don't get indexed in Google.

So far, I have 19 posts on my page. When I first started, five of my posts got indexed very quickly. It was very thrilling getting daily emails letting me know that another article was indexed. But I haven't received any such emails in over a week.

I'm very confused. I know I'm getting better with my writing, as I spend more time and effort on each post. Shouldn't that convert to better indexing? I'm also better at researching keywords and finding the best ones? With every post I write, with every training class I take, I know I'm getting better, why doesn't Google think so?

Please help me out here.

I know I have to continue and I will; I have put too much time and effort into this so far to quit now but I'm just looking for some suggestions and motivation.

Sometime there is a log-jam for a variety of reasons, Anna, and then WHAM, you will suddenly get a flurry of articles being indexed!

Jeff

Thank you Jeff.
Appreciate your answer.
Have an amazing day.

Anna

You're very welcome, Anna!

You have an amazing and successful day, as well!

Jeff

I have only received one email in regards to being indexed and that was when my "homepage" was indexed. Not sure if you write your content here on WA but if you do you can check under SiteContent and see if your individual pages are indexed. You may already know this but that "G", it will change to a rainbow color and if you hover over it, it will tell you that page is indexed. That is why I love writing my content on WA and then publish it over to my Wordpress site. Once over there I will tweek it out.

Thank you Dana,
I do write my post on WA SiteContent and then post it to my website but I did not know that you can check which posts are indexed. This is very useful information.
Thank you very much.

Hi - don't always assume that you will get an email when your posts are indexed. I don't find it a very reliable system.

Try searching yourself - type site:mydomain.com in Google, obviously replacing my domain with the name of your own website. It will show you all the posts that are indexed.

Hi Diane,
I didn't know that.
This is very useful information. I will definitely try searching it myself
Thank you so much.
