Smashing Afternoon

This afternoon was driving to the train station when at the main roundabout near to my home address someone decided to kiss the boot of my car with the lips of their car causing my head to jolt thankfully I'm ok and so's my poodle who was secured by his seat belt attachment.

Because I was paying attention to the road and have to wait to give priority to the right I was in shock for 5 min and I couldn't get out of the car.

When I decide to get out to talk, my knees were still bent. All she couldn't say was" I'm sorry can we get over to let the traffic flow? WTF I said, why you not f......keep the b....distance?

Worst off? My precious furry boy was in the back sits and actually almost come over me if he didn't have the seatbelt His eyes was like out of his head and, although he never sits down in the car as so excited always is in, he actually was sitting down and looked at me with the expression "wt........mum?"

Pulling over, she was driving an SUV which showed no damage not even a scratch, she was non stop apologies in the exchange of policy companies and I.......couldn't talk.

Bloody f.....distance, how the hell they get the driving licence in these days?

It's great that you are okay. The seatbelt for you dog was sure a good idea. Hope you are okay over the next couple of days.

Hi drjec sry for the delayed answer. I wish I can say I am ok but besides that afternoon a lot going on in my life as hacking my bank account&so; on.....anyway...I am really trying I am really demoralised and pissed off but....hopefully, next week will be a better one, better than this.
i hope you have a wonderful weekend.

I'm glad everyone was okay, that sounds like the drivers in my town!😳🙄

I wasn't sure I should click the "like" button for this one! Accidents are never fun but I am glad that you are ok. I'm also happy your furkid is ok. Those pet seatbelts do make a difference!

Ty so much DianeK59, you perfectly right. Many blessings to you.PS I am still shaking hopefully tomorrow I'll be alright.

It took me some time to fully recover when I was hit (head on and the other driver going over 70mph in a 35mph zone--in my lane). That was about 15 years ago. My physical injuries were mostly ok after the first year, but mentally, I am not as comfortable in traffic now. That day, it was just me in the car, but I have always made sure my furkids are safe in a crate or seatbelt when they join me in the car. Not taking any chances!

I hope you feel better and stop shaking soon!

All the best-
Diane

Ty Diane God bless you! Ariana/CT

Putting our thoughts in writing helps.
