What An Awesome Summer!

Hi, my name is Angela. I work as an Educational Assistant from September to June, every year. So, most summers I am looking for things to occupy my time until school starts again.

This summer I decided to look into online businesses. The first business wanted me to purchase an expensive product in order to be able to promote it. Well, I wasn't big on the product and I did not want to spend thousands of dollars. So I scraped that idea!

The next company also wanted lots of money to get the information on how to set up an online business. Since I am technically "laid off" during the summer without pay, I was not looking to pay out tons of money. I was willing to put in the time but not thousands of dollars ( I just don't have that kind of cash).

I kept looking and came across this awesome opportunity here at WA. It only took me a few days to go Premium. I was so excited to get to work on the lessons and learn brand new things. I have never been involved in business, ever! During the past few weeks I have been working diligently and following the courses. I am hoping to get through the 5 courses before I return to work in September. I am about to start the third one.

I have really enjoyed learning all the techy stuff ( I am a little bit of a techy person ). I have done video editing and photo editing in the past. So, I knew I would likely catch on to that part of the process. Generating content was the thing I was a little nervous about. I really wondered if I could do it. Turns out, yes, I can. I won't tell you how long it took me to write the very first one though. It would be embarrassing....lol Each post after that, got a little faster. As I am assuming they will continue to do.

My plan for the rest of the summer is to get as far as I can into the courses. I am hoping to finish them. Then come September, when I return to full-time work, I intend to have a schedule that allows me to publish content at least once a week. I am hoping that will be sufficient. I have read that some people are producing far more than that per week so I hope my goal is not too low.

My longer term goal is to stick with WA, to work hard at it for 3-6 months and see what happens. I would absolutely love to see some results at some point. I know it's not a get-rich-quick plan and I know it takes work. I am thrilled and excited about my whole experience here. I look forward to the future and learning many new things.
