Many Thanks to the Community

Once again, a hearty thanks to all in the community for your help, support and sharing of knowledge. It is very much appreciated and I feel that I have made lasting progress well into month two of the program.

Measuring Personal Success

I have been reading a lot of the new member blogs and how fantastic their progress has been. It’s amazing to me me how quickly results are realized by some affiliates in such a short period of time.

I try not to let others successes influence how I measure my own personal growth and progress with the program. I knew when I entered the training it would be a gradual, day by day journey for me. So, I continue to plug away at it. I gotta admit I'm not setting any records on advancement here, but I am learning how to do some really cool, new stuff!

Writing tons of content has definitely proved to be an issue for me and most likely will continue to do so for quite some time. I have accepted this as a personal challenge and an area that needs a lot of attention.....along with my typing! I continue to whittle away at it every day.

Kudos to my fellow affiliates that pump out material with little effort, day in and day out like it’s nothing. It's very humbling....and educational! You don't really get the amount of skill this takes until you actually have to sit down and pound out a few words of your own.

Progress Month Two

My website is up and running with a few minor hick-ups along the way - NICE! It doesn't look like much yet, but its getting there thanks to the helpful hints and guidance from the community and of course - their feedback.

How often should I be publishing website content?

Well, my content composing ability is inching its way along and while in training my goal is to publish a new post every 7- 10 days. I don’t know if this is enough to achieve any kind of ranking in google (maybe some of you can set me straight on this)…but this seems to be a realistic goal (achievable) for me until I get a little more proficient at writing content. I am getting a little faster at it…so progress is being made.

  1. March - http://cattreejunction.com/ website will be fully functional with affiliate links - revenue goal $500 monthly.
  2. June - http://cattreejunction.com/ website revenue goal $1000 monthly
  3. June - Complete Wealthy Affiliate Boot Camp, create a second website and have it built-out and operational (focus - WA recruitment) Revenue goal $1000 monthly
  4. December – Successfully have recruited 500 new members into the Wealthy Affiliate program.
I remain optimistic on goals and achievement until proven otherwise.

A special note of thanks to all that have reached out to follow me..... and also to those that have become part of my network and taken time to read this post.

Wishing you all the best and future success!

Thanks for the support Donna!

How's the training going?

Going fine thanks Andy, just got to the point of finding my Keywords, which I'm stumbling on a little, trying to find a happy medium, where it's not too high competition, as I know how important that is.

1

Yes, it is a daunting task and time consuming, but that's what makes this program so unique.

Wishing you the best of luck on finding those stellar low hanging fruit keywords.

Andy

Thank you my friend, have a great day!

Thank you for the gracious compliment!

And you've got to admit the midwest isn't nearly as bad as last year cause I'm upper midwest and "Where's the snow?", damn it! I want to go skiing. LOL

All the best.

Very agressive man I wish you can monitize your website beyond your goal.

Thanks Tinnakon, as always appreciate you taking the time to reply.

How are things moving along with your site?

Thanks Larry, yeah they may be little lofty for the speed at which I'm training, but I'm excited!!

Always aim high. Shoot for mars and be happy if you just reach the moon, It is all good.

Excellent work Andy....as a new WA member I find your post very inspiring. It will help me to push through my training and get to your level soon!

Andy I too have issues with writing and getting the time to do it. But we'll get there. As RJScot said, quality over quantity and he is so, so right. No point in bashing out any old rubbish as noone will read it.
The thing I feared most was the writing but I even surprised myself. I can do it, it just takes me more time than others. Good luck. Olive

Hi Andy. It's not a race to push content out - just continue at whatever pace works for you. You will get there. Glyn

1

Thanks for the support Glyn...much appreciated.

How are you feeling? Did you kick that nasty bug in the ass yet? LOL

1

Yes it's gone! Thanks for asking. Glyn

Hi Andy, Well done on great effort. Certainly don't worry about your speed. Some of us are coming to WA with a previous background of dabbling in Internet Marketing. Focus on quality rather than quantity. As to how often you should aim to publish new content, this depends on your niche. Some are fast moving while others are evergreen. Some follow latest fashion while others focus on timeless style.

1

Appreciate your reply Robert! My internet skill set is definitely improving so.....brick by brick ya know!
